I am in receipt on your notification regarding a business complaint received about Pennsylvania PlacePlease find my response and additional supporting materialsAdditionally, I would more then happy to speak with you regarding this compliant and/or answer additional questions if necessary.Regards,Roger D [redacted] General ManagerBUSINESS COMPLAINT RESPONSEAttachment 1: Email received by Ms [redacted] on (responded to same day)In this email she indicates that "all issues were addressed timely" and her need to vacate "due to an unexpected family emergency that my boyfriend Currently has in New York"Attachment 2: Activity log indicating numerous correspondences with Ms***, AS indication that we have keep in active communication with herSpecifically, in briefaIt was explained both in conversation and in email that when we experience a microburst storm as we did on due to the force of the rain and wind, it is possible for some apartments to experience rain penetration from the outside windowsAdditionally, we can experience rain entering into our main entrance lobby due to the sliding doors and portico overhang funneling waterThankfully these instances are rare and cause minany damage, Our service team's Concentration during these instances is on our common areas and then We will respond to individual apartments afterb2" level parking deck has experience issues with the parking gate causing us to have to leave the deck openFortunately we have two additional parking decks which is more than enough space to provide parking to all of our residents whom have elected to purchase parking.CPoints of information:iResidents purchase parking either uncovered-which is our top deck or covered which is our 2" and 3"level parking deckThere is no exclusive 2" level parking deck, iiOur office has increased our monitoring, tagging, and towing of improperly parked vehicles, iiiWe have a standing contract with [redacted] Auto Recovery Service to provide all of our towing needsI assure you they can access our two covered parking decunfortunately we have had vehicles towedOur lease establishes the responsibilities for a resident at the start of the process in which thereis no buyout clause and very limited opportunities to have the lease set aside upon early move outDuring my meeting with Ms***, I did provide suggestions which have been provided to me by other resident's ways in which they sought others to take over their current leaseShe indicated thshe does in her complaint she is not willing to explore that optionSummaryUnfortunately do not believe there is reasonable validity to Ms [redacted] complaints and Pennsylvania Place is not in a position to offer her the desired outcome/settlement she has requested

I am rejecting this response because: Telling tenants they can expect rain in their house due to "microbursts" is ridiculousI guess everyone living in the story building is cleaning up puddles of water off their walls, furniture, etcI signed a lease and pay my bills, that is my agreeanceThe leaae didn't state that rain would be coming in to my residenceI guess this something you like to just appear on its ownHence why renters insurance was required.I read no resolution to ignoring my emails recentlyHow are you a general/community manager for a building and ignore your tenants concerns?

In review of the original response, there was no mention of "an expectation of rain in their house". The response was to explain what occurred at that specific time and why it entered into the specific apartment home at the specific time.2. In review of the original response, a detailed contact Summary was provided, if there are attempts at contact which were not listed, please re-submit them and immediate responses will be sent and entered accordingly.Final Notes:I continue to offer my sincere apology to her regarding the negative experiences she has encountered since her arrival at Pennsylvania Place. I stand ready and willing to provide assistance in making the remainder of her stay more positive while she enjoys her apartment home.
