I received my oil change at the Oregon city Jiffy Lube on Sept 9th 2018. On Monday Sept 10th my truck started spraying oil everywhere under my hood and leaking under my truck . I had to take to mechanic to fix for $140 . I have talked to Jiffy lube and their Corp office and they are not taking any responsibility for this . When I had zero issues before oil change . Stay away from jiffy lube

This is for the newer Jiffy Lube on McLoughlin Blvd where the old McDonald's use to be The entire experience was bad except for the guy working under my truck who was good Everyone else was bad So when I went in, the dude takes me up to the computer after I drove my car into their garage and told me what they were going to do The first thing is they will use 10-oil and I had to correct him because it's suppose to be 5-in my vehicle and then he says "oh yeah" but it just leaves me wondering if they really put in the right oil 10-would be terrible for my truck because I do very short distance runs in Oregon where with that kind of driving 10-isn't good 10-is only good for extreme conditions So regardless of what they listed on my sheet, and have zero level of confidence I have the right oil in my truck Then there was an African American girl up top working on the top side of my truck presumable filling the liquids and I notice there is all kinds of steam and smoke coming from the top of my truck with a smell after they have been working on it for awhile and I saw that they spilled something all over my valve cover which is all over the top of the engine So I asked what it was and she said "water", a total LIE It was not water because it's still there and stained and it wasn't stained before and I know because the other day I had changed all my plugs, and that valve cover was spotless and clean Not anymore thanks to the incompetent *** at Jiffy Lube So it was probably oil Then after they're done they tell me what they did and said they added quarts of oil Well my truck I know takes quarts so I found that odd When I got home I checked the oil, and was a half a quart short And it's just like omg I wonder what else they *** up that I haven't found yet I have zero confidence in the work but worst of all, they're so incompetent I may not even have the right oil in my truck This is the worst place ever and I will never go back Obviously, if I took my truck back and shared my complains, first they wouldn't give a *** because all they care about is trying to run up your bill and you probably know what I'm talking about if you've ever been there But I only got the signature service even though they were most interested in trying to sell me a radiator cap, a radiator flush, super expensive synthetic oil and everything else you can imagine But if I went back and complained, they would just tell me it's the right oil whether it really is or not
When I drove away, my truck started miss firing which it hadn't done before so I was really worried I suspect that because whatever they spilled on top of my valve cover some got down into my spark plug tubes, which is bad
I would say if you have to do an oil change, don't take it here I get the impression that everyone (except for the guy working under the car draining the oil and changing the oil filter) was a noob I mean, there are a lot of fluid containers on the vehicle and I could totally envision these incompetent people putting the wrong fluids into one of those containers, like for example power steering fluid How would you like them to put the wrong fluid in there?
They're more concerned about speed then doing a good job They also charged me more than they said it would cost It was suppose to be bucks with my coupon but they charged me bucks It's only a couple of bucks but shouldn't they charge you what they say? Shouldn't you be able to know before hand what it will cost? Guess not here They really need to replace everyone except for the guy who worked under the truck Again, the guy downstairs seemed good but even that I can't confirm But he seemed like he knew what he was doing Time will tell
