DATE: September 22, *** ***:In February 2014, ** and *** *** brought their vehicle to our garage for repairUpon inspecting the vehicle it was determined that it required a new motor because it was run without oilThe *** were notified of the results and informed
me that they had no money to install another motorA few weeks later *** *** told me to go ahead and take the old motor outI informed him that it would cost him $to do soIn about a week they brought $to the garage.The vehicle sat at my garage for several monthsMost of this time, I provided the *** with a vehicle to use at no cost to them*** *** called me on a Sunday and told me the vehicle had a flat tireI was very, very sick in bed, but got up and went to get the vehicle to fix the tire.*** *** delivered a used motor to my garage in July It was not the exact motor that fit their vehicle and required some modifications,I installed their used motor as shown on attached Estimate No***, ** *** signed this invoice approving the labor and was also informed that additional work to complete the installation would be added.Additional work was performed after this motor was installed as shown on attachment #2, again continuing, Estimate No ***.' A used starter, used generator, and gas was added** *** paid $toward the balance and signed the invoice to this pointAgain the invoice stated additional work would be added to complete the job.The final Invoice No *** (attachment No 3) shows the labor to install the new motor and added some transmission fluidI ran the van for a couple of days, which is my practice, and then delivered it to their house.In a couple days I had a threatening telephone call from *** stating that there was nothing wrong with their motor in the first place and now there is something wrong with the transmission, I told them I did nothing to the transmission other than to check the fluid, to find that it too was low, and add fluidI told them I would be up to see what they were talking about because when I drove it back to them it was fine*** *** and I took it for a short drive and it was fine,
