I would like to offer my apologies for the inconvenience you have hadUnfortunately, we have no control if there is a leak on your vehicle or notIf a vehicle comes in for service, we immediately check for any leaks and if the vehicle is OK to serviceIt seems that the vehicle in question was low enough on oil that we were not able to identify how major of a leak there wasThere is no way for us to prevent the situation that occurred Would it be possible to see the receipt from mechanic regarding this? I would be willing to refund the money minus our cost of goods for this serviceWould equal out to right at half price

RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT *** December 23, 2017Mr*** did present a coupon but it was for Firestone and not Pennzoil Minute Oil ChangeWe did give Mr*** a discount consistent with our coupons.Mr*** was given the choice between synthetic blend oil and full synthetic oilHe
was informed that his vehicle did not require full synthetic oilGiven the fact that we only install synthetic oil in all cars, we would not tell Mr*** that synthetic oil is not acceptable for his carI believe Mr*** did not understand that full synthetic oil was not required for his car.As far as not being able to talk to Dan the manager’s superior, Iwas out of town for ChristmasDan tried to get Mr***’s phone number but Mr*** hung up the phoneAdditionally, my call to Mr, *** in response to this claim was not answered.We propose the following settlement if Mr*** would like full synthetic oil in his carMr*** does have the option to return within days and have full synthetic oil installed in his car provided that he pays the cost differential between synthetic blend oil service which he received and full synthetic oil service.No refund will be issued since there was nothing wrong with the service we performedBut we do encourage Mr*** to accept our offer to upgrade the oil type as outlined aboveBoth oils have the same service intervalHowever the full synthetic oil outperforms synthetic blend oil for extreme operating conditionsThe decision is Mr*** to make
