We completed the build of the fence in question in August 2016. A representative of our company was contacted by the customer about an issue involving paint overspray following its completion a month later. The customer was told at that time to hold the bill and that we would come by to check on the...
issue. On November 8 at 12 pm the representative went to the job site and attempted to remove some of the overspray, but was unable to remove all of it. Due to some delays and miscommunication on the part of our representative this issue was not resolved in a timely manner. Upon receiving complaint #[redacted]5 from the Revdex.com, a representative of Penrod Lumber and Fence Co. called the customer in question. At that time we reviewed the issues that were present and scheduled to meet at the job site on Monday, December 12" at 10 am. At that meeting we inspected the areas in question, and offered the customer the option of allowing us the opportunity to correct the issues or to part ways and discard the charges for the painting in question ($593.14). The customer decided to discard charges and part ways. We apologize for the inconvenience, and left that meeting, to the best of our understanding, on agreeable terms with the Customer.[redacted]
Upon receiving the initial complaint, a sales representative contacted the customer and scheduled a meeting with the customer in question. At that meeting the customer relayed his concern and those were noted. The failure in communication was determined to be due to a change in email...
address by the customers sales rep that led to delayed action. That issue has been rectified. Following the meeting we have put into action a plan to satisfy our obligation to build a fence that meets the standards of the customer. The final resolution of this issue will follow in short order.
