After 2 days of delays and rescheduled appointments The technicians [redacted] and [redacted] came to my home as scheduled on Tuesday April 28 , they used their own Jr Snake until the cable broke at 60 feet , they then report using their high power water machine and finally after no success used my personal snake in an effort to clean the drain line . After reporting that they had exhausted all possibilities , I got my husband on the phone to speak with [redacted] ask a few questions as the recommendation they had for me was to dig the line up through the alley and replace the line , a very costly procedure .[redacted] got off the phone with my husband with an agreed plan to repair their broken cable and come back with a locator tool that would help decipher the need to dig or not with camera proof that this was a necessary expense and procedure .[redacted] then called his supervisor ,the plan then changed I was told they had done all they could do , they had far to many other jobs to attend to and would not return to complete or do anything more for me .I was handed an invoice for $427.50 for a service they provided and offered no resolution and a phone number for an independent plumber and told good luck .At this point my children and I had been without the ability to shower , flush toilets, do dishes the things people living in homes like to do . I refused to pay the bill wanted to speak with office management .Office management adjusted the bill by $100.00a new plumber came to my home on April 28, brought the correct equipment and had my issue resolved in less than 1 hour . After his inspection of the sewer line and such he reported to me that Roto Router left the cap off the clean out leaving my children and I to ingest the sewer gases indefinitely as they were not coming back . Without disclosing that the cap was off every toilet flush , shower etc... was going to be draining out in the crawl space under my home.Sad day as a women and her children are left alone with no resolve and exposure to health risk.Desired SettlementI would like the $327.50 paid on 4/29/15 to be refunded completely the technicians did not bring proper equipment to job . They did not complete the job . They left me helpless with no intention of returning to complete job after a verbal agreement was in place . They left me in need of additional plumbing services that also accrued a fee . They threatened Legal Counsel or submission to Collections, I should not feel pressured to pay for services not rendered .
