Review: They ruined two pieces of our clothing. First, one my wife's dresses came back with several holes and bleach spots and was unwearable. The owner said it was a disgruntled employee who was to blame. They reimbursed a small part of the cost of the dress. This should've been our clue to try another cleaner. Recently, I brought my wedding suit in to be cleaned. It came back with a small hole in the arm. When I brought it to the owner's attention, she became very defensive and began SCREAMING at me that it was not their fault. It was. If the suit had a hole in it at my wedding, I think it would've been noticed.Poor service. Defensive and rude ownership.Desired Settlement: I would like for the value of the suit, following the damage, to be reimbursed.

My name is [redacted] owner of Penrose Cleaners. I'm writing you today about case number [redacted]. After I've received the letter form Revdex.com, I've talk to my employee [redacted].

Yes, it was true that we made the hole on his wife's dress trying to take the stain out.

And we asked [redacted] worth of the dress, and told us $90.00 so we paid her In full cause it was our fault. But **. [redacted]'s suit is different story. He pick up his Suit and about 2weeks later he came in to the store without a suit and told [redacted] that we Have ruined his suit. [redacted] told him that he need to bring the suit to look at the damage.

After about week or so. He came back with a suit. He told us that he only wore the suit Once but it didn't look alike it At that time he told [redacted] that he worn the suit 4- 5 times,

[redacted] told her that suit looked like it been worn sence it's been pick up and damage Didn't looked like it was made by cleaning.

His wife dress we gave what ever she asked which was $90 in full cause it was our fault.

I've been in this business for over 20 years. When you are in business that long you kind Could tell what kind of damage could made by cleaning. [redacted] been working in cleaner Over 10 yrs.

I would like to make my customer happy, but when they asked me to pay for something We have nothing to do with that's when I get lose.

I am rejecting this response because: The response is filled with inaccuracies. I brought the suit to the cleaners with me when I saw the hole. I did not first mention it, then return with the suit. As for my wife's previously ruined dress, she informed the cleaners that the dress was worth more than the $90 they offered her as compensation.

I realize I cannot reason with unreasonable businesses.
