Pension Planners Reviews (2)

Once again, I listened to the video again and it clearly does not say that there will not be a restatement cost to comply with the IRS amendments- the video says no additional fees such as custodian , broker...

ect because he is the trustee of the plan and can self direct the investments. The video never mentions that every 6-9 years the IRS usually requires a plan complete restatement that requires that over 300 pages of plan adoption, detail plan documents, trustee agreements, summary plan description ect must be prepared to comply with the 6-9 year requirement- this fee is well below what other companies are charging such as [redacted] or [redacted] plan administrators- Pension planners has prepared over 200 restatements and he is the only one to complaint.
again , a completely new plan document of over 300 pages every 6-9 years is very reasonable in my opinion and this is not an administrative or broker fee or commission, it’s a completely new plan cost and I never know how much the IRS is going to require us to do so I could not even give clients an estimate of the cost every 6-9 years

Review: On 10/10/2013 I purchased a Qualified Retirement Plan For Small Business Owners (QRP). The main reason I purchased the QRP is because [redacted] said many times in their sales and education videos, audios (I downloaded all of them) documentation, and in live presentations that there will never charge for updating the QRP. Once you pay the $2500 fee for the QRP you will never have to pay another fee as long as you have the QRP. No fees was the main sale pitch for the QRP [redacted] sent me an email on January 6, 2016 stating the QRP needs an update for the first time due to the six year IRS QRP PPA Restatement cycle. The cost will be $795.Desired Settlement: As stated many times by [redacted] once you pay the $2500 fee for the QRP you will never have to pay another fee as long as you own the QRP. Therefore, there should not be a fee to update the QRP and submit the QRP to the IRS due to the six year PPA Restatement cycle.
