The information dated February 11, (assigned ID [redacted] ) has been reviewed and the following is Kimball Midwest’s response We have attempted to contact the customer at the phone number provided but the number was unavailable/out of service Our findings on the complaint are as follows: The item was ordered on October 6, According to the customer the tool broke immediately (10-7-16), tool was not returned Customer called regarding the broken tool on January 8, 2016; another unit was immediately sent to replace the defective one (no charge) On January 18, 2016, customer reported to our Customer Service Manager that the second unit was defectiveShe immediately issued a credit for the price of the unit per his requestUnfortunately, due to a clerical error, a check was not cut at that time The customer called back on February 11, to report that he still have not received the check The Customer Service Manager at this time verified that the check had not been sent so she hand carried the credit to Accounting The check was cut and put in the mail on February 12, Due to the unavailability of the phone number on the complaint we have been unable to verify if the customer has received the check The customer has also requested that his account be closed We have closed the account We would like to thank you for bringing this concern to our attention

We

the complaint are as follows:
 
The item was ordered on October 6,
2016
According to the customer the tool
broke immediately (10-7-16), tool was not returned.
Customer called regarding the
broken tool on January 8, 2016; another unit was immediately sent to
replace the defective one (no charge).
On January 18, 2016, customer
reported to our Customer Service Manager that the second unit was
defective. She immediately issued a credit for the price of the unit per
his request. Unfortunately, due to a clerical error, a check was not cut
at that time.
The customer called back on
February 11, 2016 to report that he still have not received the
check.  The Customer Service Manager
at this time verified that the check had not been sent so she hand carried
the credit to Accounting.  The check
was cut and put in the mail on February 12, 2016.
 
Due
to the unavailability of the phone number on the complaint we have been unable
to verify if the customer has received the check.
 
The
customer has also requested that his account be closed.  We have closed the account.
 
We
would like to thank you for bringing this concern to our attention.
