Pentz Appliance

I bought a refrigerator from Pentz Appliance in I loved the fridge but my experience with this store was not goodWhen I had problems with the product recently and needed repair I called Whirlpool-Maytag (the product maker) to find out if they would cover the cost since it was a product defectThey were very nice and were willing to cover the cost of the part that needed replacing and also the cost for repair and trip chargeThey called Pentz to set up an appointment for repairWhen Pentz received the message on their voice mail they just ignored it and didn't call us back to set up the appointmentWe then called Whirlpool-Maytag to tell them about the problem and they called Pentz while I was on the phone waitingShe talked directly to the woman at Pentz and gave all the info about it being covered by Whirlpool-MaytagThe woman at Pentz said she would call us to set up an appointment for serviceShe never calledWhen Whirlpool-Maytag called Pentz back the same woman (the owner?) told the Whirlpool-Maytag customer service that we would have to wait in line like everyone elseShe wasn't even willing or concerned about making the appointmentThis was the same woman that we bought the fridge from initiallyShe was very unfriendly at that time as wellShe was suspicious that I was paying the full amount with my debit cardIt was kind of weird and insultingI guess she didn't approve of the way we looked or something I said to my husband that I would never deal with them again not anticipating needing this repairEven the lady at Whirlpool-Maytag was appalledI guess Pentz Appliance doesn't need new businessAnd obviously they don't care about simple civility or professionalismI will be going elsewhere for this repair (what a hassle!) and will discourage friends and family from doing business with Pentz Appliance
