December 7, Elsea Incpretty much screwed me from the beginningI bought the home May 1, (date cut off of copy) Did not get the keys until Sept3, Took a month for them to build the homeIt set on Elsea’s lot for a monthHad to call many times only to be ignored and lied to When I did get to talk to RodneyI paid cash for this home which is probably why I got the run aroundThey finally brought my home outThe home set there the month of June on Elseas lotThey finally called me on 6/26/to come in for the closing on the houseI think they finally brought the house the first week in AugustThey would come out and work for a day or two then I wouldn’t see them for or daysOn the alst day of Aug they done all the grading and had to put rails on steps and put insulation on pipes running in the homeInstead of finishing it they leftMaybe an hour’s work to finishI called and called Rodney he would not return my callsWe finally had enough I called, Jay of Elsea after 10-calls he finally returned my callI withheld $12,of final paymentI said I want my title and keysHe sent someone out to fix the steps and insulationWe had not got a good look inside of homeWhen we did we could not believe everything that was wrong with the home Rodney kept saying it was the manufactures responsibility to do the repairsWhen we got in the sink leaked faucet was broke for a month, had to use sink in utility roomGot tired and called RodneyHe never returned callWe called manufacturer Adventure Homes Talk to a woman there named ThaiShe said they would send the faucet outWaited 2-week’s never did get it I finally went out, and bought one myselfAdventure homes did reimburse me for itElsea finally came out with this completely different faucetThat’s how Rodney of Elsea Homes treats youI’m sending you most of everything I can findI faxed complaintI also called them with recorded callsMy roof has three big dips in itThey sent someone out to fix itHe made it worse than what it wasAnd also put the wrong shingles back onI’m afraid when snow & ice hits my roof might collapseAlso the water lines are knocking like crazy afraid they will burst and flood the houseI’ve been dealing with the manufacturer Adventure HomesI called them on 9/4/finally on 11/9/a contractor came out and tried to fix the problems He made thing worse than what they wereI called adventure homes and sent pictures of big cracks in door and shower and many otherThey finally sent another contractor out 12/6/He fixed the doors and shower wall crack and a few other things but he did no t fix my roof and did not fix my water lines from knockingIts in the wallsWater lines are not securedThe top shingle cap that Elsea put on looks like a crooked snakeI have never seen anything like itI’m faxing not4es that I faxed to Elsea and Adventure homesI also have pictures of all of this if your need them let me knowWe paid Elsea $78,dollars for this supposedly homeWe want this nightmare [redacted] to end Can you please help [redacted] 12/7/

After review of the consumers complaint and review of their file it looks like we still have some items to review with the manufacturerThe service work completed by Adventure homes on December 6th did not get all the concerns from the consumer, completed. The consumer still has some concerns with his roof, the roof Cap and knocking water lines in the wall.I would suggest we schedule a representative from Adventure Homes, a representative from E*** Homes and a representative from The Ohio Manufactured Housing Commission. These individuals can review those items above and give there recommendation on how to settle the consumers concerns.If this is acceptable to the consumer please let me know and I will make those arrangements.Sincerely,Jay E***Elsea Incorporated
