Review: My home owner warranty company hired People Mechanical to fix my air conditioner about 1 month ago. They agreed. My air conditioner is still under warranty so the manufator sent a compressor to Peoples Company. The owner of Peoples named [redacted] has been unprofessional the whole time dealing with this issue to my self, husband and our home owners warranty company. On Saturday June 14th 2014, our warranty company telephone my husband to say that Peoples would not do any work on our air condition unit. (Which was fine with me given the things we had to endure the last month). I called **. [redacted] this morning June 14, 2014@11:45 to ask if I can pick up my compressor and he told me I would have to give him $150.00 in CASH. I do believe this is called ransom. After all, why should I have to pay for services not rendered.

I respectfully asked that you look into this matter as soon as possible.Desired Settlement: Give our compressor to us without ransom.

July 6, 2014Dear Sir/Madam,This letter is written in response to complain ID # [redacted].Peoples MGC has a signed contract with [redacted] ([redacted]) to service and repair the Cooling/ Heating units of their customers. Peoples MGC receive work orders and payments for work completed from [redacted]. [redacted] requires customers to pays small deductible to Peoples MGC when work is being performed if there is a deductible due. Once unit is diagnosed, Peoples MGC gives diagnostic report to [redacted] who pays and authorizes Peoples MGC to perform repairs. Peoples MGC is solely obligated to [redacted] whom she has contract with and receives payment from.Peoples MGC received a work order #[redacted] May 13th,2014 from [redacted] to repair [redacted] Cooling unit. When we arrived at his home to do the repair, [redacted] started commanding and pushing around the technician, telling him what to do and disrupting the process of diagnoses and repair of the unit and this resulted in the technician spending 9hrs in his house instead of lhr and this event disrupted our schedule and deprived us from attending to other scheduled appointments . He went further to push Peoples MGC to lie to [redacted] so as to give him new cooling unit. We refused his push to lie to [redacted] and reported our diagnoses to be a dead compressor which made him more angry.He now realized that he still has a warranty on the compressor. He contacted [redacted] who ordered the warranty compressor in Peoples MGC name who has to process and install the compressor.Before the arrival of the compressor, Peoples MGC had already suspended all work for [redacted] due to some payment issues and talking with [redacted] in that regard. Based on the work suspension ,we refused to install the compressor for [redacted] when it arrived. [redacted] asked Peoples MGC how much we will charge to take the compressor to [redacted]'s house so that they can assign another HVAC company to install the compressor. We told [redacted] that we will charge $150.00 to drop it off at [redacted]'s house. [redacted] discussed with [redacted] and made a 4way call to Peoples MGC with [redacted] (CEO), [redacted] ([redacted]), [redacted] and [redacted] and authorized Peoples MGC to drop compressor off to his house and [redacted] will pay the $150.00 to Peoples MGC upon arrival and he agreed and we arranged to drop off the compressor to his house the next day between 8.00-10.00am. Within the next hour his wife who was not in the picture all these while called My phone and the secretary phone and started threatening to sue us. She also showed up at my house while I was out working/first by herself and second time with a police officer. We called [redacted] and told them what [redacted] did ,We also told [redacted] that we will no more deliver the compressor to [redacted] since his wife has taken the above actions and we were not comfortable with her behavior. We also stated that we wiii like [redacted] to send UPS to pick back the compressor and they agreed and apologized to us for her actions.First of all Peoples MGC is not obligated to ** & [redacted]. [redacted], we were not hired by them and we do not have any contract with them, they did not send any compressor to our office so they have no right to threaten Peoples MGC and come to our office and home. If they have any issues, 1 believe they should go through [redacted] instead of taking matters into their own hands. Secondly [redacted] have given and installed a whole new cooling unit in ** and [redacted]'s home by another contractor ([redacted] cooling/heating co) who informed me that he did so. They want to eat their cake and have it too by also wanting to keep the compressor and claiming $1,400 to themselves without [redacted] authorizing such action.In conclusion, Peoples Mechanical is answerable to [redacted] and not ** & [redacted]. [redacted]. Once final agreement is reached with [redacted] and Peoples MGC, we will act accordingly.Thanks
