December 7, 2017 Elsea Inc. pretty much screwed me from the beginning. I bought the home May 1, (date cut off of copy) Did not get the keys until Sept. 3, 2017. Took a month for  them to build the home. It set on Elsea’s lot for a month. Had to call many times only to be ignored and lied to....

When I did get to talk to Rodney. I paid cash for this home which is probably why I got the run around. They finally brought my home out. The home set there the month of June on Elseas lot. They finally called me on 6/26/17 to come in for the closing on the house. I think they finally brought the house the first week in August. They would come out and work for a day or two then I wouldn’t see them for 3 or 4 days. On the alst day of Aug they done all the grading and had to put rails on steps and put insulation on pipes running in the home. Instead of finishing it they left. Maybe an hour’s work to finish. I called and called Rodney he would not return my calls. We finally had enough.  I called, Jay of Elsea after 10-15 calls he finally returned my call. I withheld $12,500.00 of final payment. I said I want my title and keys. He sent someone out to fix the steps and insulation. We had not got a good look inside of home. When we did we could not believe everything that was wrong with the home.  Rodney kept saying it was the manufactures responsibility to do the repairs. When we got in the sink leaked faucet was broke for a month, had to use sink in utility room. Got tired and called Rodney. He never returned call. We called manufacturer Adventure Homes.  Talk to a woman there named Thai. She said they would send the faucet out. Waited 2-3 week’s never did get it.  I finally went out, and bought one myself. Adventure homes did reimburse me for it. Elsea finally came out with this completely different faucet. That’s how Rodney of Elsea Homes treats you. I’m sending you most of everything I can find. I faxed complaint. I also called them with recorded calls. My roof has three big dips in it. They sent someone out to fix it. He made it worse than what it was. And also put the wrong shingles back on. I’m afraid when snow & ice hits my roof might collapse. Also the water lines are knocking like crazy afraid they will burst and flood the house. I’ve been dealing with the manufacturer Adventure Homes. I called them on 9/4/17 finally on 11/9/17 a contractor came out and tried to fix the problems.  He made thing worse than what they were. I called adventure homes and sent pictures of big cracks in door and shower and many other. They finally sent another contractor out 12/6/17. He fixed the doors and shower wall crack and a few other things but he did no t fix my roof and did not fix my water lines from knocking. Its in the walls. Water lines are not secured. The top shingle cap that Elsea put on looks like a crooked snake. I have never seen anything like it. I’m faxing not4es that I faxed to Elsea and Adventure homes. I also have pictures of all of this if your need them let me know. We paid Elsea $78,000.00 dollars for this supposedly home. We want this nightmare [redacted] to end.  Can you please help. After review of the consumers complaint and review of their file it looks like we still have some items to review with the manufacturer. The service work completed by Adventure homes on December 6th 2017 did not get all the concerns from the consumer, completed.  The consumer still has some concerns with his roof, the roof Cap and knocking water lines in the wall.I would suggest we schedule a representative from Adventure Homes, a representative from E[redacted] Homes and a representative from The Ohio Manufactured Housing Commission.  These individuals can review those items above and give there recommendation on how to settle the consumers concerns.If this is acceptable to the consumer please let me know and I will make those arrangements.Sincerely,Jay E[redacted]Elsea Incorporated

Our Loan Servicer has been working with the consumer to help in getting their loan current.  The customer and Loan Servicer have made payment arrangements. The consumer is going to make their current payment plus a quarter of a payment for the next four months.  If the consumer follows the...

payment plan they have agreed to the loan will become current and they will only have to pay the regular payment until the loan pays out. If their is anything else we can do for the consumer, please let us know. Thank you, Jay E[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: the work is not done yet I have been waiting since September of 2017 to get these problems took care of  ,when these issues (roof ,doors ) are fixed right then we can close this case and move on .This by no means should have took this long.
