I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY WHATSOEVER!!!!!
In order to get insurance I had to have a home inspection. Everything checked out except for a leak under kitchen sink. The way the inspector reported this you would have thought there was a huge leak. There was a small drip at the shut off valve. The week before the inspection my dad was under the sink and the valve was not turned all the way off. I explained this to the inspector, tightened the valve and before she left I told her she could check it again and see it was not leaking. She declined. I had to hire a licensed plumber @ $95 per hr. to come out, check under the sink and report what I already knew was wrong. THERE WAS NO LEAK!!! I then had to send a copy of the invoice, a picture as well as a statement from the plumber on letterhead stating it meets code. RIDICULOUS!!!! I refused to send in a statement letter. Explained that if it didn't meet code that would've been included in the notes that were on the invoice. I'm currently looking for a difference home owners insurance company. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

I was over charged. When I tried to cancel my policy. I had my new insurance agent fax them over a cancellation notice. I personally faxed over the cancellation notice. I called and spoke to a customer service agent, Tom who supposedly gave me his fax number and confirmed my e-mail address and said he would send me an e-mail address confirming he got the fax. None of this happened. They just refuse to acknowledge the cancellation because they will owe me a refund. I again faxed and e-mailed a copy of the cancellation notice today. This has been going on for over a week. This company is very shady. Maybe this is why so many complaints with Revdex.com.

There are no words to describe the amount of stress People's Trust put on us during the last 7 months by selecting Rapid Response Team LLC as contractors for repairs in our house and not giving us any other options. It's been absolutely devastating experience from the day one.
We've heard every excuse in the book for why the job is not done properly or on time. Apparently "tomorrow" means "whenever they have a chance". Canceled or delayed appointments, ordering wrong cabinets, the lack of choice over who will complete the repairs, numerous problems with the quality of work, timing, communication, ignorance and disrespect we were treated with...these would not even start to describe how we feel.
Furthermore, this claim was dragged over the period of 7+ months, and now we are under the "high risk" category. People's Trust dropped our coverage 2 weeks after our claim was submitted (my lawyer said that we were supposed to get coverage for at least 90 days). Since we were without the insurance for more than 45 days, we would need to pay extra on top of our new premium. Also, for the same reason our new insurance will not be active for another 30 days after this [redacted] is closed (if it ever be closed).
We've owned 3 properties within the last 23 years. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had.
It's not OK to treat people this way by any standards.

People's Trust is by far, the most ridiculous experience I've had with an insurance company. I requested a quote from them. I emailed my wind mitigation (as requested by them) and got confirmation it was received. After days of them having my information, I didn't hear back. Called them NUMEROUS times. No call back. Nothing. They practically begged for my business only to never respond. With nowhere to turn, I left a post on their facebook page. Again, no response. Only got the general, "Send us a private message so we can help". No help. I returned to their page only to see, they'd blocked me. Clearly, they do all they can to keep new customers from knowing the truth. Do not do business with this company. Truly unprofessional and zero accountability for their horrible practices.

I don't not recommend any person pushes from people trust the time when you have claim give you a hard time

I filed a claim with Peoples trust insurance on Oct. 8, 2016 due to Hurricane Matthew. The adjuster cancelled on me twice. Then made a 3 appointment at 7:30 in the morning. Finally showed up at 3:30 in the afternoon only after I called the company several times. It took the adjuster more than a month to summit my claim. Again, only after I called the company several times to find out what was going on. I was finally told that my claim was settled on Nov 16, 2016 and that the check was in the mail so I could start my repairs. It is now November 28 and still no check. I have a swimming pool in my yard and there is several small children that live behind me. I am afraid that if one of the children fall into the pool due to it not being secure and drowns I don't know if I could live with that. I have expressed this to Peoples trust several times. My yard and pool are not secure due to the fence being gone. But they don't seem to care about that. Every time I call I get the same response. Just give it a couple more days. I guess I will be on the phone again for a couple more hours trying to get this resolved. I will be contacted my lawyer tomorrow as well.

I have been with Peoples Trust for about 5 years. No pProblems. Yesterday I get my declaration page and notice a 30% increase on my policy. Common Peoples , Ive been reading all your negative reviews, Aand the least you can do is not jack up customers premiums for no reason. Some of us like myself have no intention of ever using your company, however Ive realized your shady practices. Not looking for new insurance , but if you're going to bust peoples balls if a legit claim comes in and you want to pay much less than acceptable, I have a high end kitchen and it seems your company will just replace with standard.(garbage) Please contact me @ 3059267008. I have been a customer of People's Trust Insurance for 4 years now and have nothing but positive things to say about the company. The business model is brilliant, the rates are competitive and the staff is amazingly knowledgeable.

Any time I call with a question or inquiry, the wait time is under a minute and customer service rep a pleasure to speak with. "Simply a Better Way" is their slogan and it's TRUE. I am proud to be part of the PTI family. Nobody wants to have a claim, but I am 100% confident that in the event I do, PTI will provide a painless experience.

had no problems with this ins until I had 2 claims that were out of my control a tree fell and a leak paid for it then they refuse to renew my policy now im going to have to find someone else
