On 1/23/13 [redacted] came into my office and said he
wanted to buy a truck. I showed him 2 trucks I had and he decided on a 2001
F-150 Supercab. At that time we went inside to do the credit app. On the credit
app he stated he worked for a company named [redacted]...

[redacted] at 2174
Thousand Oaks San Antonio TX 78232 the number was ###-###-#### for the last 3
years. I ask him was he [redacted] and was this his company, 2 or 3 times during the
applications and he assured me “NO”, but he worked for two men who owned the
store. I ask him was this a brick and morter store and he said it was a large
store and he worked in receiving and his superviser was [redacted]. He did
stocking and warehouse and that he wished he owned it because it was a buisey
store.
At that time I told him I needed 2 pay check stubs and he
produced 2, that is inclosed. I also told him I needed his last stub from last
year and he said he would bring it back and did. He brought all the other steps
he needed and I contracted him.
I told Mr. [redacted] that the lender would be verifying all the
information on his app and would call him for a phone interview in the next day
or so and he said fine.
I sent the deal to [redacted] here in town and they
tried to reach Mr. [redacted] and got no response from him. Then they tried to
reach [redacted] and there was no answer at the store only a answer
machine. They left several messages and nothing. At that time they Googled
[redacted] and it showed up Mr [redacted]’s home address. I went
looking for [redacted], the address he gave for the store and it didn’t
exist.
This whole deal took 6 days so far. The next day I went
looking for his house and found that address but there was no truck there so I
went home for the night.
The next day I returned to the house and there was the
truck. I went my daughter was with me and I left her in  my car and went to the door. I rang the door
bell and after a short time a young lady answered and I ask for [redacted].
She said she would get him. After 5 or 8 min he came to the
door. It was apparent she had wake him up, it was about 1 in the afternoon. He
seemed irritated that I was there but let me in. I told him I went looking for
the store and couldn’t find it and ask him what was going on and he said
nothing at that time I ask him were the stor was and he looked down and said I
don’t know I’ve seen it somewhere. I said you work there and don’t know where
it is and he said nothing. At that time I told him I needed the truck back and
he went in the other room and cane out with a piece of paper and told me it was
a internet company. And he was [redacted]. I told him they would still do the deal
but we needed his bank statements, he said he didn’t have a bank account and I
ask about pay pal and he said it was a cash only business. I told him then I
needed the truck, He told me give him back his $900 and then he would give it
to me. I told him I don’t carry that kind of money he told me tuff luck
At this point I felt like he was trying to steal the truck
and went outside and called the police. They explained my rights to me and his
to him. And they couldn’t help me.
He did follow me back to the lot and gave me the keys at
that time I told him because I had to tell 2 or 3 people the truck was sold and
it cost me another deal I was only refunding him back ½ his money because
everything he told me was fraud I would refund him $450. He blew up and started
to threaten me. There were 3 other men in the outer office and he finally said
his uncle was a lawyer and would sue me and I told him go ahead. He yelled that
he was going to sit it the truck until he got his money and stormed out of the
office.
At that time I called my lawyer and told him the story and
he said let him sue you and we’ll hammer it out in court.
