Review: I had called Pequa Pools (after I left a message with the only other authorized salt water repair company on Long Island) and they had scheduled time 2 days from when I called to investigate the issue. Shortly after I called, my wife got a call from the other company who said they could come the following day however she thought it was the same company calling to push up the service call 1 day so we never called to cancel. When Pequa Pools pulled in front of the house the 2nd day, my wife immediately went outside BEFORE the driver even got out of the car to advise them we didn't need their services and they left right away. Shortly thereafter we received a call from Pequa Pools advising they were billing for parts and a service call however they never even got out of the truck (my wife apologized for the confusion given the circumstances and he told my wife "I don't want to be a [redacted]" and has since billed us for the service call, $85). There was NEVER an agreement that there was a charge for the visit to begin with nor did he or his employees even get out of the truck and now I am getting numerous phone calls and bills threatening to send this to collections.Desired Settlement: Close out the bill and leave us alone.
