On 2/5/17, I found a product I found interesting off of a web page via Facebook I ordered "free" trial offer for the product for a mere $shipping cost I did not see any of the extra costs, extra products or the extended costs I was going to be getting in the "fine print agreement" The reluctant, lack of trust kind of person I am, I checked my credit card bill, only on a whim Another charge showed of $ Trust me, these meager fees mean nothing to me It's the principal I am more about the positive, accurate and honest explanations and agreements you are going to be getting These should not be hidden in an "small print" agreement I doubt the majority of customers read these I know I don't have time, nor should I feel the need to! They make you sign it to complete the order That should have been my first clue there was going to be a problem So, I called the customer service number listed on the confirmation email The first service rep, Jonathan was informative and explained the hidden costs, the extra product and if I did not call and cancel by a certain date there would be an ongoing charge each month Instead of waiting, I tried to cancel only the continuing charges during the call He stated that was not possible The cancellation had to be done at a later date and could not be done at this time My comment, was I am a busy person and would probably forget What if I do not like the product? If I go to a store, buy a product and don't like it, I don't go buy it again! Your company does not respect that? He was silent for a while...then proceeded to say it was company policy and repeated it could not be done until a later dateI decided to go ahead with the trial order and put reminders in multiple places to remind me to cancel He thanked me and the call was ended professionally Within minutes or less, I received another email confirming a cancellation (note: no cancellation number provided) So, I called them again I asked the rep named Kaleb why the order was canceled? He had no legitimate reason for the cancellation He advised me to place another order I asked what the amounts of the ongoing charges I should expect if I forget to cancel Again, long silence He responded "due to the department he was in he did not know" and HUNG UP with out saying one more word I called my credit card company to cancel the charges They asked for the phone number and the cancellation number, if any provided, as they wanted to call them and do a conference call This rep confirmed the cancellation charges were in progress Only after the card rep asked, did she provide a cancellation number Needless to say, the card company rep assured me there would be no more charges on my account from this company listed as "STR*AZI" on the card statment The other odd charge from something I did not order, was under a different listing of "JPE*ESSENTIAL" I have no idea if these are just company codes or part of another scam via a second company name they are doing business under Just a heads up to keep a close eye out for this company I make it a point to never trust a company that have reps that are obviously advised it is OK to hang up on customersThey are not to be trusted in my opinion Unless no refunds are processed within a week, my issues are resolved The credit card company has me covered anyway Thank you for the opportunity to report bad companies with poor service
