We do everything we can to be paid by the insurance but at the end of the day the insurance is a contract between the patient and their insurance companyWhen we tell anyone anything about their insurance it is because that is what we were quoted by the insuranceIt can become tricky because the insurance will say that services are covered and they are, however, the patient can still be responsible for the balance if there is a copay, deductible or coinsurance included in the policySometimes it can be confusing with a service being covered but not paid by the insuranceIf there are ever any questions about billing our office is open to discussing this six days per weekOur office sends billing statements once a month and we are happy to help patients understand any concerns they may haveWhen a patient does not respond overtime we assume they will not pay the bill and take further actionWe are always open to discussion and though we are not a bank we have offered options for payment arrangementsIf patients are really in a financial bind we even have a hardship programIt is unfortunate that we have not heard of this complaint until now and will be happy to discuss this specific case personally with the patientBecause HIPPA laws are considered in this case, a public forum is no place for this situation Please feel free to call our office and speak to our billing manager [redacted] XXX-XXX-XXXX as our office cannot address anything specifically due to patient privacy laws
