I purchased a *** *** from this dealer on 11/17/ I paid the full amount in a cashiers check, no liens The dealership is refusing to release the title to my car that I paid for
I faxed the emissions test on 12/11/I have been to the DMV twice trying to get tags for my car They said the dealership has not released the car The dealership is refusing my calls as to why they won’t release the title The temporary tags expire this week and I will not be able to drive the car that I paid for

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because the business is flat out lyingThe only reason the fixed the dents is because I demanded it in writing; otherwise, I wouldn't have purchased the car. So their statement reflects that they only commit to issues a customer catches and not the hidden onesThat is a lack of trust and lack of integrity.Given the way they handled the clearly evident ADVERTISEMENT regarding the towing hitch and the slew of bad maintenance reviews on yelp, I would never trust them to work on the breaks. I am seeking legal advise and conducting a thorough vehicle inspection by a factory dealer, and will most likely pursue a class-action lawsuit against this business, based on the sheer volume of similar complaint by customers over the past couple of yearsThe only two acceptable recourse at this junction is:1- The dealer immediately agrees to pay the $cost to install a towing hitch by a factory dealer.or2- We proceed to Court, after legal discoveries and testimonies of other costumes of this business
Regards,

Tow hitch, spoiler, running boards, roof rack, wind deflector, bras, mudguards, bed liner, etc. , are all optional accessories and not included with a vehicle unless someone order such items. The vehicle which he purchased never had a tow hitch.  Tow hitch job...

is to be connected to something and if a license plate is on it's way as stated by [redacted] than it can not be used for it's purpose. So if he thought it is behind license plate really doesn't work. We also explain to him that no where in the advertisement under the vehicle description we have listed tow hitch, neither the photos of the cars shows any tow hitch and most importantly the transaction was not sight on seen or online where if he missed the photos or thoughts there was tow hitch, but it was an in person transaction at day light and he saw clearly that the vehicle does not have such accessory. Yes it is listed under the options because this is one of the option available with such a vehicle should someone wanted to add in the future. Yes we have an other [redacted] and it does not have a tow hitch just like the one he purchased, but under the options shows as available but under the description we do not mention anything about tow hitch because currently it does not have one.
I would also like to make a note that we listed the vehicle with a very clear and visible dent on the left side and that was one of the item that [redacted] asked us to fix as part of the deal. We accepted and agreed and fix that for him. If we were scam artist according to him, we would not have stood up to our words and could have deliver the car to him without resolving that issue. Also he did a very clear inspection of the car and I am very positive if he saw the dent just like it showed on our photos, he saw that there was not tow hitch with the car just like there wasn't in the photos as well. The reason we listed the dent in our photos on the add is because we do business in a very clear and transparent way so when someone is coming from local or long distance they know ahead of time what to expect. If our business policy was as describe by [redacted], than we would have not posted a photo of the side with the dent and let people find out upon showing to purchase the car to find out themselves. Further more we do have a disclaimer on the web as well " Vehicles are listed with the utmost care; nonetheless, all listings are subject to human error. Please call or visit the dealership to confirm vehicle availability, condition, and options."
Regarding the issue with brake caliper we informed him on the phone that he is welcome to bring the vehicle so we can check it out and resolve this issue as a goodwill/customer service prospective for him since caliper is not covered by limited warranty. Warranty is for Engine and Transmission only.

In response to the respected customer complaint we already participated in paying our part of the expense by mailing a check to customer as a good well help to customer even though the car has been sold AS-IS (the...

customer did not mention that) attach you can find the supporting documents, the car was in excellent condition based on the year of the vehicle and very low mileage. The car was properly inspected by the independent inspection station prior to selling. It was a 10 years old used car and no one can predict the future. If we knew that the caliper bold will break after you purchase the vehicle we would already stop that from happening.

Perfect Auto Warranty Policy:
Any car less than 100K Miles comes with 30 Days or 1000K Miles Limited Powertrain warranty. Any car more than 100K Miles will be AS-IS. Most of our vehicles with low miles are so new and do still carry balance of factory warranty, but we do not put that...

in writing in our warranty documentation at the time of the sale since we are not the administrator or manufacture of those particular factory warranty. All information provided on the website are courtesy and it is the customer's responsibility to verify and be able to get work done through factory warranty in the event that they have an issue with the vehicle. We also do provide extended warranty which they can purchase to be able to have coverage beyond factory warranty all the way to 100K and assured %100 uninterrupted coverage.
[redacted] purchased the vehicle from our office under the 30 days or 1000K Miles limited powertrain warranty and did not purchased an extended warranty all the way to 100K. He was over due for an oil change when visited [redacted] of Tysons Corner few month down the road after purchasing the car, they were giving him hard time on rendering warranty work since the oil in his car was a little dirty and needed to be changed. After he called us even though it was after 30 days and according to our terms of agreement Perfect Auto had no responsibility regarding this vehicle since it was outside of our warranty window, we still asked him to come so we can help him and see what is going on. After inspecting his vehicle we noticed that other than oil being a little dirty the vehicle no other issue and maintenance is a responsibility of the owner/driver of any vehicle during the time of ownership. We provide him a loaner car FREE of charge (even though we were under no obligation to do so) and we changed the oil in this car and test drove it to make sure it is ok and found no problem. (we did not charge him for the oil change either). Recommended to him to stay on top of his maintenance and perform his oil changes more often so he wouldn't have an issue in the future. After informing [redacted] to pickup his car, he would not accept that and keep insisting on that his car need a new engine. Even though we had no further responsibility regarding his car, as a good will and a customer service/satisfaction point of view, we went one additional step and took his car to [redacted] of Chantilly to reassure him about our opinion that his car is fine and there is no problem with it. [redacted] of Chantilly looked into the matter and checked the vehicle and came up with same assessment as our service department came up with and documentation of it was provided to [redacted]. Even though we had no responsibility regarding factory warranty and it is the buyer's responsibility to verify validity of factory warranty, we contacted Nissan/[redacted] of North America and verify the validity of the warranty on the above vehicle and provided a copy of the warranty document to [redacted]. We also give him the point of contact at [redacted] of Chantilly for any future work that he may needed under the remaining factory warranty which they were willing to perform for him at no charge.
