Review: The tanning salon advertise for monthly tanning for $19.99 a month for more details inquire inside. I asked to join the monthly membership for $19.99 but states there is a $40 start up fee plus tax I agreed signed contract was told had to keep it for three months, I can cancel contract in feb but by the [redacted] of the month. I signed up on 11/**/2013. After signing up employee fills in amount due which came to 72.99 but says monthly will only be 32.95 total for the remaining months on contract. I questioned why it went from $19.99 to 32.95 was told taxes. I didnt argue but I already signed contract. In december I came in and paid the 32.95 in cash which wasnt on record had to argue with employee until I showed my reciept. January it was auto deducted from my checking account and I spoke to the employee at desk about feb coming in and canceling my contract was told I couldnt do it until by March [redacted]. I said I signed up in November was told three months and I could cancel by Feb. I was then told the first month doesnt count, the first payment didnt count. I am completing the contract will cancel it in March but I wanted Revdex.com to know this companies false advertisment and shady business dealings along with employees who dont know what they are doing.Desired Settlement: I would like to pay for what was advertise and for the amount of time I was told I needed to end contract. November pd. 72.99, 32.95, 32.95, 32.95 total of $171.84 instead of the advertisement of 19.99 for three months would have been 59.97 which is a difference of $111.87. I have one more payment of 32.95 I would like not to make that payment so it would be that I paid 138.89 and either refunded 78.92 or extend the tanning without further payment for another three months.thats fair

I am writing in reference to complaint # [redacted]. I have a copy of her sales record from the store and she is incorrect on what she paid. Her first charge on 11/**/13 was for $41.97. This original charge was for a prorated monthly amount for the program and the set up fee of $20. I would like to see her receipt for $72.99 that she claims, because my credit card receipt that was signed on 11/**/13 is for a total of $41.97. On 12/*/13 she came in and paid for her EFT in ther salon which was $32.95, on 1/**/14 she was drafted $32.95 on her Mastercard and on 2/**/14 she was drafted $21.95 on her Mastercard. I do have a signed copy of her VIP contract where she initialed expressing she understood the program which states "I must complete 3 full drafts in addition to the prorated first month". We have been in business since 1992 (family owned and operated), and have never had a complaint to the BBC. The VIP program has been running for 6 years. The contract is very basic and there is explained in full to each and every customer as well as having the customer inial next to each spot that they understand the program. I personally tried to call her phone number on file to discuss the charges and explain her contract with her. She is eligible to cancel her contract now since she did have three drafts. Also the reason her first draft was not $19.95 plus tax is because she paid it in the salon instead of being drafted through the EFT company. It was fixed and adjusted on her 2/**/14 draft which was $21.95. Tanning is a taxable service and her contract does say $29.95 plus tax as well as her first draft being $19.95 plus tax. I have copies of her sales record as well as her original contract that she signed and initialed. Normally if someone has a problem of any kind they leave a message for a manager or owner to contact them to work it out. We are not a franchise,customers are not just a number, we are family owned and operated and we personally call customers back and run our salons clean and professional and that is why we get so much positive feedback and recomendations. We have multiple locations and have been open for 22 years. We are more than fair with our customers and do our best to work out any problems to make our customers happy with our services.
