Great company great people, Randy and Raymond came out quickly and gave me a great price on trimming some trees and taking one down. The whole crew worked together as a team until the job was done. I will use them in the future if I need anymore work done.

Thank you for the work, and the kind words!

Mislead on extent of service to be provided.
A man from this company (phone #XXX-XXX-XXXX) was offering tree service in my neighborhood. I had a small dead tree I was going to call for service. I was given a price of $300 cash which I thought a little high but okayed it since it would be completed that day (Sunday 9/16/19). The rep said he would provide a contract in a little while.

When the job was nearly commplete, he returned to my door with the contract which I signed. After they left I noticed they had not cleaned up the debris. I called and was told the contract stated "no clean up". To me, this was quite underhanded because he had never at any time mentioned there would be no cleanup. Had he mentioned this, I would not have hired them as, for various reasons, I am extremely busy at this time.

I have used tree trimming service many, many times over the years and have never had a service not clean up. Therefore, I was not expecting to be left with a mess. It is totally out of the norm.

I believe if he had been honest, he would have told me no clean up when he quoted me a price. I don't believe it was an accident he omitted to mention it. I believe it was an attempt to scam me.

Desired Outcome

I would like either they clean up what's left of the mess of refund part of my payment.

Nothing could be further from the truth we removed a dead ash tree that was hung up in power wires for 300 bucks which is cheap especially when playing with your life. Before anything was done a contract was filled out and she knew the debris was staying as we did work for her neighbor and did the same thing for the city to come pick up so they could get a cheaper price. Once the job was completed she stated the debris looked tacky and would rather it be removed by us instead of waiting for the city and I informed her we could do that but for more money as it is not what we agreed on and she became irate. Two of her neighbors was there the whole time from start to finish and told us that she is a mean lady and hard to please. The contract states the same thing and the job is completed in full therefore nothing more will be done the city will pick the brush up as discussed and as she requested for a cheaper price.

The tree was under the power lines, not hung up in them. This person is a huge liar. The neighbors are actually very good friends of mine and would NEVER say I am mean. They may be contacted, if necessary. Also, the other neighbor he did work for was "screwed" as well. They did not complete the work as specified and left a mess for them. They may be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com as well.

Ma'am you know what the job was for andnwhat we was doing. I will not do anything further as that is what we agreed on and that is what is signed in contract. And go ahead and ask Miss *** I have no reason to lie. I stand behind my A rating our business is completed with each other and I have nothing further to say. Good day!

Contract states they would come back 9/9/19 to finish cutting the tree. No one has showed up for the job I have already paid for.
On 9/7/19 I had hired this company to cut down a tree. The three men stated their chain saws are worn down but they would return on Monday 9/9/19. I paid in full with cash and *** had filled out a "contract" with all this information. No one has come back and no one is returning my phone calls!! The contract states they will cut the tree up and remove the stump.

Desired Outcome

I'd like it to either be finished quickly or a refund to pay a different company to finish it!

They knocked on my daughter's door and agreed to cutting down a tree for her. They left with money in hand and stated they would be back on Monday to finish cutting the rest of it. It is now Thursday. She has called and called and they have given her excuse after excuse. The main business number goes straight to voicemail. Do not use this company!!!

I have not misinterpreted anything about the Revdex.com or insurance. I ordered 10,000 cards and they all have that I'm insured and with the Revdex.com also with *** and that I accept credit cards. When I got the cards all this was true and since then I have been revoked from the Revdex.com because my credit card got cancelled and I had no way to pay my membership, And I do have insurance. I left money on the job and told Mr. that I would be back to collect the rest of the money and I would bring my wife to look at a vehicle he had for sale when I came back. He became irrate when it was not soon enough for his likings and started bad mouthing me and my company on Facebook and the Revdex.com and through text messaging so I simply told him that I do not want the money for the stumps and I do not want to buy his vehicle to find someone else and I apologized for everything and he became more angry.

Mr. did not show as promised the following day. He would not answer calls, then someone answered is phone at 2pm and said on the way and be here at 4pm. When paid he said credit card machine was not working and I paid my check and this extra time allowed him to get to the back so check could not be stop paid. No answer on repeated calls that weekend, finally found his wife's facebook account and she made him call. He said someone put sugar in his tank and it would be a couple days and he would be here. He said if I didn't want to wait to just hire someone else and send him the bill. Still no show and he blocked me from phone or facebook. Of course he did not provide his address. We have submitted to Revdex.com and notified our subdivision community page to warn others. By the way, these our $300,000 homes and we have no reason to lie. He is a dishonest person and pulling scams by driving through neighborhoods to get quick money and not worrying about return business. Also, he was supposed to trim tree but showed possible damage and talked me into cutting entire thing down for lots more money. We are now sure our nice tree was fine and healthy. Just scammed.

Hired them 4/10 for hurricane related tree damage. 6/22 large branch cracks and hangs precariously in front yard. I call
I hired them to take care of any damage to our trees that needed attention. Owner claims we only hired him to cut down dead branches. I specifically asked if their arborist could tell us if there were issues with our trees. He pointed out one that had stress fracture and repaired that accordingly. He never looked at our broken branch but he's claiming that it either happened since they worked on tree and that I didn't contract with him to fix issues, just remove dead branches. If that were the case, why did I pay to have a stress fracture repaired? I feel they took advantage of myself, a hurricane victim in *** knowing they weren't coming back to town.

Desired Outcome

I'd like a partial refund because I will need to hire someone

As I explained to the customer on the phone we was contracted to remove the dead branches from the front pine trees, dead wood and thin the front tree near the home and cut the jasmine out of the back two pine trees and haul everything away. We removed all the dead out of the front pine trees and trimmed the front tree near the home and realized that there was a stress crack fracture and some cavities so we gave them the option of sealing the tree and cabling the tree to prevent any damage from happening. When we was in the pine trees we saw nothing of danger that needed to come out or we would have informed them just as we did the front tree and like we did the back tree that we suggested that should be trimmed away from the home but they did not want to do that. I also explained to them that it's an act of nature we can't prevent everything from happening who knows what could have happened causing the branch to break but I assure you it is not a dead branch because we done just as we was contracted and removed the dead from the pine trees. We trimmed them in early April and here it is a couple months later I could see if something happened a week or so after we was there but not two months. Our job was done as contracted and there was no danger to the pine trees when we was there. A big gust of wind or anything for that matter could have caused the branch to break and that is out of our hands as we cannot control the weather. If we saw any type of danger involving the trees we would have taken care of the issue just as we did the front tree and offered the back tree as well. Therefore I cannot offer any money back being our job was completed 100%.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
After talking with him on the phone, I knew he wouldn't offer any compensation or accept responsibility. He hasn't seen the tree in question, standing his ground without the ability to visit our property. He said he was relocating his business to South Carolina which he didn't. He never had an ability to back up his work as he is no longer in SC.

While this company dropped some trees safely for us, we have since discovered that they are not insured as they claimed to be. The policy they showed us on request was expired and a call to the insurance company told us they indeed were not insured. They also claim on the card they gave us that they are Revdex.com accredited, but they are not. We should have checked closer before doing business with them and want to warn others to be careful.
