The contract automatically renews year after year unless you send in notice of cancellation 30 days prior to the end of the agreement or any renewal term. You never sent in notice of cancellation. Therefore, your contract renewed. Vivint turned your services off due to non-payment. They didn't turn your services off for any other reason.

Your social security number was provided from the original creditor. I will look into seeing if the original creditor somehow obtained the wrong social. We have provided the contract to you though.

We purchased this account from Vivint. We now own it. Once the account has been settled, we will delete this from the credit bureaus in its entirety.

If this account was set up fraudulently, you must not only file a police report but also must prosecute the person that committed the fraud and a court ruling must prove that fraud was committed. Perfection Collection would need a copy of the police report and the court ruling. You are financially responsible for the agreement until the fraud case is closed. If you feel this is your spouse's responsibility, by all means have her call in and settle the account. If you settle the account, we will delete it from your credit reports in its entirety.

the paperwork on 03/02/18 showing I made payment in full, but your office is still sending reports to the credit bureau (latest one on 03/05/18) that the collection has not been paid.  While I ne’er stand that it could take up to 30 days to show that I paid, you should not be still reporting a balance due.  This is unacceptable and needs to be stopped.

Perfection Collection sold us your account in October of 2016. It is the consumers responsibility to read the contract and understand it before signing it. It has in bold letters written on the contract, "Do not sign this agreement before you read it." When you called Vivint to tell them you were...

moving it's possible that your current balance on the account was $0. Just because you moved, doesn't mean that your contract is no longer valid. You owe for the months remaining on the contract times your monthly monitoring rate($2803.60) plus applicable interest in the state of TX brings your balance to $3,370.60. But like the representatives have told you, we are willing to settle this account for 50% of the balance owed and delete it from your credit report in its entirety. If you wish not to settle the account, that's fine, but this account will remain on your credit.

Perfection Collection purchased this account from Vivint in June 2016. Shortly thereafter, Perfection Collection sent a letter to Angela at 1114 Chambers address. She is more than willing to call us at 801.921.7379 to get this account resolved. If we settle the account, we will delete the account...

Alarm system was installed 08/02/2014 at the same address where [redacted] still resides. Hard to believe that he doesn't know anything about it.
