Response to the Complaint filed by [redacted] ***We have been in business over years and have never had a complaint filedOur space is leased, all stylists are sub-contractorsWe have stylists with years plus experience, Corrine is one of themThe client was given a thorough consultation prior to the appointmentThe client stated she had done this process many times at different salons and understood the processShe was told the pink color will not last and can fade quicklyA pre-test of color with her hair strands was also done prior to the service making sure the color was exactly what she wantedWe quoted her a price of $The stylist used “On Scalp Beach” and the client was monitored consistently throughout the bleaching and coloring process with a timerThe stylist recommended a haircutThe client said she could not afford itThe stylist gave her a complimentary haircut and conditioned her hair with oilAt no time did the stylist try to straighten her hairIt was left curly per client requestThe client paid for the service, left a tip and said she was very happy with the color and that she loved her hairThere was no mention of a problem with her scalp when she left the salonThe stylist gave her a business card and said to give us a call in a week or so if she needed a touch up on the colorThis client was completely accommodated to her needsWe never heard backNo record of ###-###-#### on our caller IDIf were aware that she had a concern, we would have tried to satisfied her in some wayWe would be happy to give her two free conditioning treatmentsSincerely,Jodi [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: Yes she did test my hair, but she did not test my scalpYes she used the timer, but that was too long for my scalpYes I did have to take the heat off with the help of another customer No she did not tell me it was a temporary color because I wouldn't have paid that much money for temporary colorThe haircut was included with the $quoteYes she did put oil in my hair and then try to straighten itI am going to decline the offerI went to a different place of business and had my scalp treated then my hair treated and fixedThey also out a color inIt's still in and looks greatMy scalp is not burned either.

She was told the pink color will not last and can fade quickly. A pre-test of color with her hair strands was also done prior to the service making sure the color was exactly what she wanted. We quoted her a price of $225.00. The stylist used “On Scalp Beach” and the client was monitored consistently throughout the bleaching and coloring process with a timer. The stylist recommended a haircut. The client said she could not afford it. The stylist gave her a complimentary haircut and conditioned her hair with oil. At no time did the stylist try to straighten her hair. It was left curly per client request. The client paid for the service, left a tip and said she was very happy with the color and that she loved her hair. There was no mention of a problem with her scalp when she left the salon. The stylist gave her a business card and said to give us a call in a week or so if she needed a touch up on the color. This client was completely accommodated to her needs. We never heard back. No record of ###-###-#### on our caller ID. If were aware that she had a concern, we would have tried to satisfied her in some way. We would be happy to give her two free conditioning treatments.
