Wow...What an Experience,
Finally get the Car set up and they Owner Asks for Payment in Advance via E-TransferSure no problem, my Brother was setting up the payment and sent it before the vehicle was even picked up and all was good right?Nope
For Weeks we have tried calling and calling to see the status of the Vehicle calling almost every 2nd day with no return callsSo the Truck is approx 1hr away from it's final destination and I get advised that there was a problem with Payment and if they can't get payment before drop off, Performance will drop off the vehicle at a Storage locationI replied so you had the vehicle for over and 1/weeks Performance Auto Carrier never even confirmed payment until hr before the vehicles arrival to it's final destinationNow I am at work and the receiver was at work and what are we supposed to do now
I make some fast calls and payment gets sent that day...Guess what Another issue with Payment, so I speak to the Owner Sean and he says he will drop it off at the Storage Place to pick it up because it was a late delivery because of a damaged Turbo on the Truck and they are behind schedule, he is suddenly in a hurry to drop off the vehicle
I said to drop off the vehicle with the receiver and we will issue payment shortly after as not everyone has access to the internet while at workHe says "No" and so I said then drop it off at the Storage Facility and we will pick it up there as inconvenient as this may be
Now it gets better, when the person tries to pick up the vehicle, they tell them there is an additional $60.00/Day Storage Fee and have to pay before they can have it
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!
1st the Truck was Late arrival
2nd Never advised that the truck was arriving late
3rd Never Checked for and 1/Weeks if payment was received
4th Hardly got any return calls after practically calling every 2nd day
5th Demands payment before getting the vehicle, even when it was their issue
So I call Sean and I say no way I am paying the added fee...This was messed up in so many ways and there was absolutely no conversation or document that I have signed indicating a Storage Fee, especially when this was messed up in so many ways from PerformanceI threaten a Lawyer, he says go ahead (Like this is a regular occurrence for them) and there was no professionalism in any way...Rude actually
Sean claims he told me over the phone of the Storage Fee, whatweeks after and 1hr before the car is delivered, he supposedly tells me!!! If he would have told me I would have known, because I was handling the costs for the receiver and I would be obligated to advise them about it right away
So we paid the Extra "Hidden Fee" and Added Charges and received our late delivered vehicle and hardly got any return calls for weeks and yet I am supposed to be satisfied! - Don't think so, this is one very unorganized group and Highly, Highly NOT Recommended
