I am rejecting this response because:the clicking/popping noise never went away and when I asked if the additional repairs they suggested would be discounted his mechanic informed me that they would not be because I was billed for having the control arms changed and they were changed successfullyMy argument is that I didn't take my vehicle in to have new control arms installed, I took it in to have get the popping noise fixedAll they fixed is what I told them I thought might be making the popping noiseI'm no mechanic so I expected them to look into it to find the noise, instead they just fixed what I proposed the problem might beAs professionals they should have conducted a more thorough evaluation of the vehicle to have a better idea of what the problem actually is before replacing a part that didn't need to be replaced

Mr. [redacted] had repairs done on October 28, 2014.  His concern at that time was a popping or noise coming from the front of the vehicle. We preformed a drivability test on the vehicle and the noise that was profound to our technician were the front control arms of the suspension. After...

replacement we had the vehicles front end aligned and again preformed a drivability test.  At that time there were no existing noise that we heard after replacing the front control arms.  We looked at the vehicle on several occasions and checked everything that we had done and also tighten up the motor mounts of the engine which had recently been replaced by another facility.  We completed an inspection of the undercarriage of the vehicle and also again did a drivability test with different technicians and they also found no noise coming from the front end.  We did a thorough inspection and I personally drove with Mr. [redacted] and did not hear any noise.  We again checked the vehicle and could not duplicate the sound Mr. [redacted] was hearing.   We corrected the noise for which we heard and is common on vehicles when the suspension wears as his had done. Please bear in mind that the vehicle in question is a 2003 model and has a low ground clearance.   We are willing to assist Mr. [redacted] with discounts on future repairs.   He was given a 10% discount on parts for the repair order # 64890. We strive to accommodate and solve any problems our clients might have and I am willing to assist Mr. [redacted] on future repairs.   Regards,   [redacted]
