Review: The mechanics did not provide quality service and were really rude. They did not repair my car like they said they would.

I took my 1996 Toyota Corolla to the shop on 8/26/13. The mechanic said that I needed to replace my fuel pump. They told me my car would be ready to pick up on 8/28/13 but it was not able to be picked up until 8/29/13. This caused me to miss a day of work. When I picked up my car on 8/29/13 and paid the total of $317.49 I proceeded to drive home and realized that my windshield was cracked. When I got home I call the shop and was told that it did not happen while it was there. My car there for 3 days and there was not a crack in my windshield when I dropped it off. On 9/1/13 my car broke down again. I talked to the mechanic who agreed to take another look at the car and fix the problem. I returned my car to the shop on 9/12/13. I called multiple times to ask about any updates on my car and each time was answered with a rude response that they did not know what was wrong with it. I called on 9/24/13 and talked to owner [redacted] who told me that he had not yet looked at it and that he would look at it tomorrow. My car had been in his possession for 12 days. I called again on 9/25/13 and was told that he did not know what was wrong with my car and I should come pick it up. I went at picked it up on 9/25/13. Through out the entire time my car was at the shop I was only contacted once by the shop, every other time I would have to call to get any answer. They were repeatedly rude to me and would give me little information. My father would have to go to the shop on his lunch breaks to speak to the owner who would be rude and even went as far as to yell at my father. After a month service with this shop I had to take my car to another shop.Desired Settlement: I would like a complete refund of $317.49 since I paid for a service and product that did not fix my car. I also want $218.95 to fix my windshield, that was cracked while in their possession.I received the quote from Safelite Auto Glass. This makes a total of $536.44
