Review: Upon calling performace Cycle, Speaking with owner [redacted], I was quoted $112 for a front tire as well as a $150 maintenence package, as he called it. He said it would definiteky be under $300 out the door with taxes included.Coming to the shop, after work was done, he charged me $501. He also had my motorcycle on a lift, hostage, until I paid the full amount. Upon calling him to question what was actually done, Owner [redacted] said that what I paid for was well worth what I paid, then hung up the line, neber answering my question. Upon arriving at his shop, he was not there.The reasoning behind needing the front tire, was it was going flat, which it did today. I called [redacted] to question the tire going flat, since it was brand new, he told me he never replaced a front tire. That it was the rear tire he replaced. Charged 190$ Plus $40 to install, in leiu of the $112 quoted. He stated that he made a mistake, and installed a rear tire, and asked "what do you want me to do". I told him that I wanted my front tire installed, which he told me "i have already seen your yelp review, take your bike somewhere else" and hung up the line, a second day, a second time.I feel my bike was Not worked on at all. I have no proof that work was completed except a rear tire that I did not ask to be put on or purchased. He left my motorcycle a greasy mess, and the rear brake system is now acting as if it wants to lock up. Performance Cycle has misquoted, performed work that was not asked to be done, then forces his customers to pay before the bike is brought down off the lift. This is criminal activityDesired Settlement: I dont feel safe bringing my motorcycle back to Bobby's Performance Cycle to be worked on, let alone to install a tire, after he has shown malice and immoral behavior from a business owner.I would like my money refunded to my account as to have my motorcycle serviced properly for My Safe Ride.

I am responding back to [redacted] complaint regarding hisservice with my shop Performance Cycle. Mr. [redacted] came to my shop wanting anew rear tire as well as a service on his bike. On 8/12/2015 I called him andlet him know that his bike was ready for pick-up and gave him the total for theservice to him over the phone, he said ok I will be there in a little while. I leftto get my lunch to return to see him waiting because he was there to my shopwithin three minutes after the phone call. If I had known he was going to be that quick to get to my shop I wouldhave waited. He seemed upset about the price of the service and at that point Itried to make it right and asked what I can do to make you happy. His responsewas there is nothing you can do to make me happy, just get my bike off the leftand eat your lunch. I tried to explain, I want to make you happy and he wasn’thaving It, he said there is nothing you can do to make me happy or fix thesituation.He called me after he left the shop and I asked him againwhat can I do and he said nothing. I never held his bike hostage that is funnyto me that he says that because it isn’t true. At this point I will not be refunding any of his money back to him. Itried to fix it in the beginning when he came to pick up his bike and he didn’twant anything to be fixed.

I am rejecting this response because:the reply given by the Owner was not truthful. Why would I call him back after I returned home, to Not get what I asked for to begin with. I have three saved phone calls, between [redacted] and myself, regarding the service that was not done. [redacted] has told me to "fk off" twice, and never did any work to my bike whatsoever. On the phone and in his shop I was refused service until payment, including getting my bike off the lift. Which is illegalAfter taking my bike elsewhere, it was shown that [redacted] did no work to the motorcycle. He did not install a Front tire as quoted verbally on two separate occasions.He ripped me off, did no service, and acted illegally as a business owner by holding my bike on the lift until payment was taken ($200+ than quoted)

We want to resolve this concern for the customer. This is what we will do. We will mail him a check for $120.00 for the tire and nothing else. We also want him to stop criticizing our company. We did due a service for him and unfortunately when he picked his bike up there was a concern regarding the total, [redacted] tried to make it right and he didn't want to settle the concern. He just assumed that his bike was held hostage because it was on the lift. If [redacted] would have known that he was going to be to the shop in a matter of minutes he would have waited to pick his lunch up and his bike would off been of the lift.So, as a mentioned I will mail a check to the customer for $120.00 and nothing else. Please let me know if this will work for him.[redacted]

I will await 10 business days for such refund.$120.00Mr [redacted]I do not agree that service was done, however if this is All I can retrieve from this nightmare, so be it. I will cut my losses. I did Not Need a rear tire installed, as mine was a couple months old; which ended up being a waste of money for me (the customer) and a pure profit for [redacted] and his Business.As for him to ask "to stop criticizing", I have said Nothing but the truth in this entire matter. I was used by a 'professional' and then had to prove what was ACTUALLY SAID per [redacted], before a resolution was offered.I want this complaint to stay active until refund is received prior to 9/23/2015 (10 Full Business Days) as I do not trust this Company.
