Performance Ford Lincoln Bountiful Reviews (10)

I paid them $to diagnose the problem with my ExpeditionThey said it was "exsive play in front endnees new ball joints to fix issue." Turns out the problem was a bad encoder shift motor in the transfer case Performance Ford initially told me they would stand by their claim and now say that it was just their opinion that the ball joints were the cause other companies that specialize in front ends said my ball joints and front end are fine

Went to Performance Ford on Feb17th, to pay cash for a new Ffor myself and a Ford Escape for by wife, both of which they were advertising online I was first given a run around on the price of the Escape The salesman had to keep running back to his boss to ask what he could sell it for Each time he came back his prices kept going up, supposedly because he kept making mistakes about the taxes/title etc We finally settle on an Fthey had in a nearby overflow lot and an Escape they said they could get from nearby dealer Our final out the door was based on a friends/family price plan I got because of a family member that works at a Ford plant Next, they have me and my wife sitting in the waiting room for another hours while they're supposedly doing the paperwork They finally come back telling us some story about how they can't get the gate unlocked to get the Fthat I wanted from the overflow lot So after all that, we had to leave empty handed The next day, when I was ready to finish the deal, they tell me that they gave me the wrong rate on the friend/family price and the cost was going to be $more Of course I'm not happy but they won't do anything to fix their mistake so I finally agree to make the deal at the higher price so we can get our new vehicles Imagine my disgust when they finally call me to tell me they couldn't get the Escape they promised us from the other dealer Instead, they want to give me a lesser vehicle that was on their lot but they don't want to adjust the price To make a long story short, this place is full of a bunch of wind bags that make nothing but empty promises just to get you to sign for vehicles that you don't wantAll they care about is making that sale with little regard for what the customer actually wants I have purchased dozens of vehicles over the years and this is by far the worst vehicle buying experience of my lifeI will never do business with this place and will make sure that everyone I know in the area hears of my experience

I responded to a vehicle advertised on ksl for a specific priceNeedless to say I was continually jerked around I was guaranteed an adherence to the pricing to the advertised price told given numbers for my trade and for the vehicleIt was understood that I had a pre-approval from my credit union and that I would be bringing in a checkThey were going to have a salesman bring the vehicle to my home to make sure it fit in my garage if it did we had a dealThey had a dealBefore said salesman brought the vehicle to my home they called me and said they needed to increase the price of the vehicle by dollarsI was also told inaccurately and dishonestly that due to the patriot act even though I was bringing a check from my credit union they had to pull my creditThey pulled my credit for no reason whatsoever and it impacted my score for no reasonI am currently researching the legalities of this particular incidentIn all my dealings with this dealership only one person was

We bought a car from themThey said we only needed a dollar down payment and that everything was approveddays later we see that my wife keeps getting her credit runThe dealership kept running her credit because the Bank of America which was what they said we were approved on, needed proof of incomeSo in order to avoid thatThey kept running her creditOne of the employees suggested I make up paystubs to show the bank, and they other salesman even had the audacity to say that it was approved the whole time, because they called me and said it wasn’t after daysVery sketchyNow my wife has all the credit runs in a day span

I was looking at a Dodge Durango they have on the lotI had been watching it for two weeks and watched it dropped from a little over $22,down to $21,I stopped by to check it outThey told me they would sell it to me for around $23,I told them it was on multiple sites for $21,They said it was a mistake they made but would not go down to what was listedI wrote an email explaining how that is shady business practiceThey emailed me back and said they could only go down to $22,762, and that absolute accuracy cannot be guaranteedI watched it for the next couples of weeks and have seen the price drop and raise between $23,to $21,

I purchased a prepaid maintenance agreement and GAP insurance when I purchased a truck from this company; the terms of the purchase include that when the vehicle is sold or paid off any unused GAP Insurance and Pre-paid maintenance will be refunded I went into the dealership on July 26th and filed the paperwork to receive my refund, I was given the documentation that showed my refund amount would be: $for GAP Refund, and $2,for Protective pre-paid maintenance plan At that time I was advised that the check would be sent to me within 4-weeks August 23rd I contacted Performance Ford and spoke with a woman in accounting who advised me that Protective the insurance company they go through had not yet issued the refund and that the check would be cut that week and mailed by Friday, that we should receive it the following week I called again the following Friday to inquire on what date the check was mailed, because we had still not received it At that time I s

I purchased an extended warranty and pre-paid maintenance plan when I bought my vehicle in October and assured that they could be cancelled at any time if not used I have been trying to contact the dealer for two weeks now and have even walked in (finance manager was not in and other manager said he could not assist) I have left messages and even tried to contact the General manager but the receptionist would not transfer me They have been unresponsive and unprofessional Not to mention the delay is costing me extra interest on my loan which is not fair

I was sold a warranty under contract and I've ordered warranty cancellation since July 29th of I've been ignored and hanged up on very unprofessional no where to turn I feel like a victim of fraud

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: This information is incorrect. They were not trying to get me a longer term whereas my pre-approval was for the longest possible term available (84 months). Myself and my wife BOTH expressed they would not be able to beat the rate...

or term we were already approved for, and also told them I did not want another inquiry on my credit,  the sales person conveyed that to his manager then came back and said they had to pull our credit due to the patriot act. This is as I expressed before not correct and in fact a blatant lie. Furthermore as he stated I was responding to an add placed by performance ford on ksl.com, when I said I would buy it if it fit in my garage they did not adhere to the advertised price but rather attempted to increase the price by 1000.00 dollars. The very next day this same vehicle was advertised on ksl.com for almost 1500.00 dollars less than the price I had responded to. Also there was not at any point an attempt to rectify the situation aside from a call from a person at the dealership with a half hearted apology.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

In reference to [redacted], my name is Jack H[redacted] business manager for Performance Ford Lincoln Bountiful. [redacted] came to us from Atlanta, GA to purchase a 2010 BMW 7-series with 100416 miles. Giving the interest of his loan (22.79%) and high mileage of the BMW, we offered a Guaranteed Asset...

Protection and a 12mons/12000 miles engine warranty with his purchase which he agreed. We have done everything that we could to keep Mr. [redacted] happy, the gap and warranty has been cancelled and refunded back to the institution (Santander) upon his request $500/gap and $877/warranty. The warranty was cancelled on 11/29/2016 in response to Revdex.com, we couldn’t proceed with this process until now due to Mr. Labrance un-reasonable and combative attitude towards me and our staff on the phone.
