My name is [redacted] and I am the [redacted] of PHF Automotive, LLC dba Performance Honda ("Performance Honda"). I have received your Cincinnati Revdex.com...

Complaint IDs # [redacted] [redacted] ("Complaint") regarding [redacted] and [redacted]. Please accept the following information in response to these Complaints, which I have investigated.
On or about July 23, 2014, Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] came to Performance Honda to purchase a vehicle, in which they purchased a 2008 [redacted], VIN#[redacted] ("Vehicle"). Mr. [redacted] stated that he was going to the bank to get a certified check for the full amount of the Vehicle. Mr. [redacted] stressed to the salesperson that he did not want to have an inquiry on his credit report as this would affect his business and that if there was going to be an inquiry he did not want to purchase the Vehicle. Unfortunately, based on information Mr. [redacted] was asked to complete, there was an inquiry into his credit history which he did not find out about until after he purchased the Vehicle
I spoke with Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] separately regarding this [redacted]er and their concerns are as set forth in the Complaints. When I spoke with Mr. [redacted], he stated how he thought we lied to him regarding inquiring into his credit history. I assured him that generally, a credit history is not necessary when a customer pays by certified check. I assured him that this was just a miscommunication among my staff and I quickly offered to remove the credit inquiry from his credit report. He stated at that time that he was unsure if he was going to proceed with having the inquiry removed. I mailed him the form that is used to remove such inquiry if, and when he desires to do so. I have discussed this [redacted] at great length with my staff and am confident that going forward this oversight will be prevented in the future.
I apologize for any inconvenience this ordeal may have caused Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]. Once I receive the form to remove the credit inquiry from his credit report, I will process it immediately. Should Mr. or Mrs. [redacted] have any other concerns regarding either of these Complaints, I ask that they contact me directly.
