Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/01/15) */ This is the first that we have heard of any problems with the vehicleWe will give a full refund for the vehicleJust let us know a good time for a person to pick the vehicle up and give a cashier check refund to

Mr*** did purchase a Ford Expedition on 3/17/ The vehicle was at the shop Mr*** works at getting a inspection to be sold Mr *** came to our office to see about buying the Expedition He wanted the shop to look at the truck and let him know what needs
fixed The valve cover was leaking, we made a deal for him to purchase the Expedition and have his shop fix the Valve Cover gasket Mr *** had a Chevrolet Suburban to trade We both agreed on the trade and the sale of the Expedition with his work fixing the Valve Cover Mr *** has yet to bring the title on his trade as he agreed to On 3/22/Mr *** stopped at our office and said the Expedition might need a head gasket Without hesitation I said just bring the Expedition back and I will buy it back so we are just done with the deal since Mr *** bought the vehicle AS IS and Signed the Buyers Guide Stating he didn't want a warranty Since Mr *** works at a shop we use I offered to buy it back and pay for any repairs that he had out of pocket On 3/23/I was at the auction and Mr *** came to our office yelling swearing and belittling my office I tried to contact Mr *** with no luck I called his work place told his boss to please get anything that I owed him for the Valve Cover repair, and to let Mr *** know when I got back I would bring his Suburban up and pay him for and receipts that Mr *** had spent on the Expedition When I got back I went to get a inspection done on a different vehicle at that shop I talked to Mr *** and said I will buy it back and pay for anything he spent on the vehicle He gave me receipts, of them were for parts for his work truck I explained that I would pay for the repairs for the Expedition not all his vehicles He got rude with me said he wants a new motor and thats what I was going to do I explained to him that he didn't get a warranty and bought it AS IS That if he wanted a warranty he should have bought it at the time he bought the vehcile Not complain about everything almost a week later after bragging to everyone that he has had the Expediton over a MPH several times I said that I will not put a motor in the Expedtion but will buy it back o just move on from Mr *** I explained that I didnt think I or the vehcile could ever make him happy So easiest way is to give his money back since he STILL HAS YET TO GIVE US HIS TRADE TITLE His boss said guy take it out of the office as he was working I never said lets take it out side, his boss asked us to take it out of his office I asked him what he wanted and said he was going to a lawyer I went one way to a different part of the shop he went another I called the bank where his loan was asked for the payoff, and explained the situationI also said that he is not ok I guess with me buying it back and not sure what he was going to do This was a AS IS DEAL Mr *** signed the buyers guide and was aware of it I believe offering to buy the vehicle back pay for any and all repairs was fair and going well above what needed to be done This must not be good enough for Mr *** So as of the end of the day 3/24/Performance Motor Sports will retract the offer of buying the Expedition back as the abuse that he puts on the vehicle going over MPH it will be a matter of time that Mr *** tears the Expedition up if he wasn't the one that tore it up to begin with Performance Motor Sports also asked that if he keeps the Expedition after pm on 3/24/that Mr *** follows through with his end and brings his trade in title to complete the dealI am not sure what Mr *** wants more then what I offered unless it is him that can"t produce the title for trade

Mr *** purchased vehicle on 3/while on test drive check engine light did come on, we guaranteed to pass safety and emissionsCode was Bank Sensor Osensor, we repaired customer drove the truck for days to set monitors for emission test Problem solved emission passed on 3/
see attachments sensors problem fixed no charge to customer 6/Mr *** pulled in and said truck wont shift and is grinding, we checked it out for them no charge Told them it was a transfer case motor, very common to go out on chevys Told Mr *** that it would cost at or around $with parts and labor Mrs *** called very upset yelling saying everything is going wrong with the truck and she wants it fixed at no charge and she was going to contact a lawyer for us to fix the problem We informed Mrs *** that the truck was purchased as is and a warranty was offered and you declined the warranty, see attachment and we have already fixed a few things at no cost She got very upset and yelled more saying she wants it fixed and hung up I called her back and talked to her to explain we cant keep fixing everything that goes wrong on the truck for ever We did say that we would put part on at no cost if they bought the part at cost They agreed see attachment 6/customer paid $for transfer case motor Problem solved truck runs and shift fine no grindingEverything we thought was fine didn't hear anything for them At or around 10/Mr *** stopped in and said he hears a noise from one of the front wheels could we check it out for him He left the truck, both my mechanic and myself drove the truck put on the rack and couldn't find anything I informed him when he came to get the truck we couldn't find anything or hear anything I went for a ride with him to see if we could hear anything and nothing We said it could be a wheel bearing making slight noise every now and then He might have to replace it if continues to get louder I believe we have went way out of our way to help fix any problems for the ***'s at little to no cost to them They were offered a warranty and didn't take one But every prolem they have had would all be considered a wear and tear item and wouldn't be covered anyway We do try to help every customer we have but also we can't fix every problem that ever occurs for free We are blindsided by this complaint as we have had a very open communication relationship with the ***'s We always offer free scanning for all of our customers So I am not sure what they are asking for, as the only part they paid for was the transfer case motor which has a lifetime guarantee So if that is the part that is bad it is covered If anything else we would be more then happy look at the issue and fix it for a very good price Performance Motor Sports will not fix anything else at no cost on this truck

I have went back through and half years looking for your deal Could I get the month you bought the car from us The reason I would need the Van is that when we run a car fax it is done with a Vin scan so I wanted to do that I did try and track the Van down to try and do that But the Van was sold at the Auction on 10/4/for $I will do my best to work with you if this was a issue on our end If you could please let me know the repairs that you did to the van, and we will try and work togetherWith this being such a old deal if you could let me know these things it will help me understand the problem

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/01/15) */
This is the first that we have heard of any problems with the vehicle. We will give a full refund for the vehicle. Just let us know a good time for a person to pick the vehicle up and give a cashier check refund to.

We are looking into this matter with Mrs. [redacted] on the 04 Quest from 2014.  If she can bring the 2004 Nissan Quest to us and we can get to the bottom of this and if this is a mistake by us we will buy the vehicle back.  There was no intent to deceive Mrs [redacted] with any documents and...

if anything was taken the wrong way we will work hard to solve this issue. This is the first we have heard of any issues with this vehicle, but will do what we can to help with this issue.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because I have traded the vehicle on 10/3 for another one and I got only $500 for it. That is how I learned about rollback. A new car's dealer showed me where the rollback has happened, it's exactly you took possession of vehicle. I have the correct carfax in front of me showing vehicle had 233469 miles on 3/6/2014 while it was being for sale at West County Nissan, then 3/2014, then on 3/13/14 vehicle purchase reported, on 3/21/2014 inspection was done at Pacific location close to your shop where the mileage dropped down to 93,666 and that is when you sold it to me. You overcharged me for vehicle $4000-5000 so I am going to start legal action to get compensated for loss. When you were selling car to me you showed me clear carfax for that vehicle.
Sincerely,
Adisa [redacted]

In response to the complaint Mr [redacted].  Mr [redacted] was fully aware as was Arrow finance company where he has the loan on the car.  Arrow actually got in touch with us after Mr [redacted] tore his car up asking if we could help him get the car fixed.  We agreed after talking to Mr [redacted]...

he needed to get the car to our shop.  After receiving the car it was not in the condition he had spoke to us about.  He had it at another shop and they cut parts off, broke bolts, had half of the motor apart.  After speaking with Mr [redacted] and Arrow we all agreed that rebuilding what was wrong with the motor would be the most affordable for Mr [redacted].  Documents were sent to Arrow and Mr [redacted] after work was complete explaining all work that was done.  Mr [redacted] did contact our office Months ago saying he was hearing something and we told him to bring it in he never showed, which is stated in a letter we sent Arrow Months ago.  Mr [redacted] then contacted our office a few weeks ago screaming saying we didn't put a motor in the car.  I responded he was full aware that a motor was not installed and that one was fixed and has a copy of everything we did.  He then agreed that he knew that and started yelling again we put used parts on it.  That is the furthest from the truth and next to impossible as there are very few of these cars out there to get parts at all.  After listening to him yell more I told him to get ahold of Arrow as they still have a copy of the things we all agreed to do on the car.  Mr [redacted] continued to yell so I did hang up on him, never once taunting him.  He did call back as said lets try and work this out after he spoke to Arrow and realized he agreed to the rebuild.  Never once did we lead on that he was getting a new motor as it didn't fit into his budget.  The work done to this car was 8 months ago and had no warranty when it left do to the fact these cars are to be know as race cars.  After the conversation that we had with Mr [redacted] on the phone we wish to no do business with him.  We are attaching the letter sent to Arrow and Mr [redacted] this letter was sent months ago.  Contact Arrow [redacted] to verify if needed.
