Performance Muffler Reviews (4)

First of all, the parts were all DIRECT fit from the SAME manufacturer Secondly why would I get in touch with the header manufacturer?! You admitted to me you saw the large important looking wire amd decided to leave it where it was, resulting in a melted transmission cordI would like reimbursement for the tow to a professional shop, the cord, and the I paid to have the product installed correctlyI dont know how someone can work on someones truck, and mess it up and now knowing I paid for it with money I had earned in afghanistan and still try to blame the messup on the part?! If you want your business to prosper and to be professional, show itAdmit to messing up tieing the parts down and ill cover the clutch kit I had to replace with my own money since I couldnt wait around for you all month and just pay me the little I asked for and move on and take more pride in your work

Hi, my name is [redacted], I am the owner of Performance Muffler. There are several problems with this customers issue. I will help clarify the problem, and help the Revdex.com come to an understanding about the issue.First, all the the parts we installed were aftermarket performance products...

from three different companies. All of which we had to modify while installing.Second, the header this customer had chosen to install relocated the down pipe above (instead of below, like the stock configuration) a control arm cross member. Which brought it into close proximity to several transmission and wiring lines. These lines were clear of  the exhaust tubing before the customer left the shop.We at Performance Muffler have not seen any proof that this did in fact occur. If, as the customer stated, the line rubbed through the exhaust, he needs to contact the header manufacturer. We, at Performance Muffler, did not cause the problem, the header he brought in, did.We have offered to replace any and all parts damaged through our actions. If the product, the customer purchased, was installed incorrectly. We have not heard of a complaint from the customer about the exhaust pieces being installed incorrectly, we cannot be held liable for parts he chose to install without verifying the fit and finish of the products.
