I was not provided with estimated to cost to repair damage to installation of widow when replacement windows were installed, no notice of leakage was seen All repairs up to this time involved use of caulk with repairman sighting window weld as issueI was never told of extra expense nor estimate of repair * * *** mention touches the window causing a water dam that caused water damage

*** *** was informed on more than occasion that we suspected the leak in question was due to the way the builder installed the original siding to the home. Our assumption was always that the leak had been happing for some years prior to the installation of the window
in question*** *** never believed us and never hired anyone to address the issue or even look at it as we recommended since he would not take our findings as trueHe forced us to reinstall the windowUpon removing the window for re installation we were able to verify that this was in fact the case as we able to trace the water coming from the J-Channel numerous feet above the window The leak from the siding was so bad that my installer had to rebuild a decorative half circle above the window, we are only seeking the amount of material and labor cost that were incurred to perform the "siding service"Our contract clearly states that there will be an extra charge for any work not specified on the contractAfter all this you would think that *** *** would be appreciative of the service we completed as that was not our obligation nor our responsibility, but he chose to go another routeWhen water leaks from a window it does not travel upwards 4-feet, it moves down with the force of gravity FYI - I have sent out a ten day demand letter for payment, as well as perfected lien that I will be filing with the county. If still no payment is received I will be filing a claim in court to seek damagesAdditionally he now has an unpaid balance on his account and his warranty is inactive

The door was not ordered yet when I called the salesman, a day and a half after the day period, to cancelAgain the first thing out of his mouth was "we'll SUE you!" In fact the woman from the company didn't call to say the door was ordered until Monday. We do not want anyone from this company on our propertyDue to this complaint with the Revdex.com, we are very afraid of them falling, or hurting themselves on our property and suing us that waySince this company seems to be SUE happyWe do not want this doorWe do not want them on our propertyPeriod

Although we certainly feel terrible about the bad news the *** received with respect to their employment but the "Michigan Solicitation Act" that allows a customer to cancel within business days from the time of signing had expiredThat law was put in to place by our elected
officials primarily to protect homeowners from high pressure sales tactics and would allow them to cancel a contract that they feel is unfairThe act also protects companies from unscrupulous homeowners after the right of cancellation has expired You can imagine the havoc it would cause if we let homeowners cancel contracts whenever they want to even if its after the cancellation date We feel we have a perfected contract and will seek to enforce it when the material arrives and we are set to installSincerely***

The company came out and corrected all issues to my satisfaction.
