He agreed to purchase the pistol and even gave me his credit card info,this is usually a pretty good indication that someone is buying something! we charged his card the agreed amount and waited for him to stop in to the complete the required background check before receiving this handgun, then Mr....

[redacted] decides after about a week that he no longer wants or needs the handgun, trying to be helpful I offered him the option to transfer his money towards any of our 1,000 other guns here in order to prevent him from be subject to our 25% restocking fee, he informed me that he didn't want or need any of our guns at this point for some reason.  Our policy is stated on the bottom of our receipts and has been for a number of years now to protect us from losing money in this exact example, each used firearms we process here is listed on three websites for sale and this takes about 1 hour to complete, when a customer agree's to purchase the firearm we require a minimum of 25% down, non refundable to ensure there serious and to protect us from loses, the other reason we have this policy is because firearms are expensive and if customers tie up our inventory its costing us money on our line of credit.  As I have stated he have had this policy in place for a number of years now and this is the first complain we have every had about it or our service in thousands of transactions.  Our online feedback on gunbroker.com is A+ over 1600 transactions, we do very well at keeping our customers happy, however the saying you cant please them all is very true and this is one of those examples.  Our policy is listed on all our auctions and was listed on the auction for the gun Mr. [redacted] purchased as well for example please visit gunbroker.com and look at item#[redacted] and look at picture number two it list's our policies including this one, as well as any other listings we have.  Thank you for your time, Michael J [redacted] President/CEO Performance Shooting, Inc.
