Mr [redacted] ordered the bumpers off our website and we promptly shipped them to himUpon receiving them, he noticed that they had been damaged during transitWe then contacted the manufacturer and requested another set of bumpers be sent out as we were out of stock on them at our warehousesThe 2nd rear bumper shipped out, but the front bumper is on back order per the manufacturerMr [redacted] had several discussions with two of our sales reps where it seems there was some confusion as to what came pre-drilled and what did notOur sales reps explained to Mr [redacted] that the front bumper comes pre-drilled, that is itNowhere on our website, emails, or conversations did they say the rear bumper comes pre-drilled, that was an assumption on Mr [redacted] partWe have these exact bumpers on our shop Jeep which both sales reps helped install so they are very familiar with the products mentionedMr [redacted] assumed there were pre-drilled holes so now he wants to return the productWe stopped shipment on the front bumper and are more than happy to take the rear bumper backWe did our part by shipping him the exact product that he orderedIf he would like to return it, we will give him a full refund on it once he returns it to usThe part in question is lbs and can be sent back via UPS Thanks, [redacted] ***

I've attached a chain of emails that I've had with this company In summary I called before ordering and was told the rear bumper package was predrilled by PTP sales In order to be crystal clear I also clarified w/ their customer rep *** that the 2nd one was sent to replace the damaged ones was going to predrilled and with brackets He clarified that the packaged didn't come with brackets but since I had ordered the brackets seperately they will come with it and that yes the bumper would be predrilled
You can also see the pattern of behavior here from this company They don't want to admit to mistakes or misrepresentations they've made and either choose to blame the carrier they hired or the customer for problems they should be responsible for The analogy I'd offer here is pizza delivery If I order a pepperoni pizza to be delivered and the company receives my order for pepperoni but when it shows it is sausage (not predrilled) and clearly shoved into a box after falling into the dirt (damaged) I'd call the pizza company and explain things to them I wouldn't expect their response to be, "Well it wasn't our fault the delivery kid dropped it and sorry but we don't sell pepperoni (why did you let me order it adn tell me you did when I talked to you multiple times) but if you want a new pizza you need to come down here and pick one up I paid for delivery of a specific product undamaged I was told on multiple occasions I'd get it I haven't When I tried to fix it on the damaged one myself to alleviate the problem w/o no help from PTP what I got in response was them trying to further shed responsibility byt telling me the bumper they asked me to destroy they couldn't pick up now It is frustrating b/c never do they try to solve the problem All they try to do is tell you why it isn't their fault and ask you to pay more money

2nd rear bumper shipped out, but the front bumper is on back order per the manufacturer. We did our part by shipping him the exact product that he ordered. If he would like to return it, we will give him a full refund on it once he returns it to us. The part in question is 93 lbs and can be sent back via UPS.
