Dear Revdex.com,Our company received this order and our website clearly states 1-3 working days for processing time.  We have  a very secure website and this order had some flagged issues given it was over a $200 order, we were not able to reach him by phone, and when he emailed us to upgrade...

with guaranteed delivery by a said date we  responded letting him know we would need further verification from him as the credit card holder.  He had his billing address as one location and his shipping address in a completely different state. We have the right to request the merchant authorization code which is the code given to our company once the customer places the order and the only person other than the merchant is the credit card holder.  When he was asked to retrieve this information from his bank and give it to us verifying it was the same 6 digit code we had he requested this order to be cancelled.  We quickly cancelled the order, and issued a void amount right back to his credit card so there was no settled charge that ever reached his account.  It was a temporary hold amount until we settled the charge and our company never settled the charge amount given that he refused to complete the necessary steps for the verification process we requested to make sure this was not a fraudulent purchase made on a stolen credit card.  We have been in business since the early 90's and have dealt with our share of online fraud purchases made at our website.  We take this very seriously and do all we can to prevent credit card fraud from happening to our customers.  We certainly apologize that this customer was offended by our further verification request.  We do not feel our request was unreasonable given the amount of the fragrance purchase made at our site.Thank you,Perfume Emporium, Inc.
