Pergerson Medical Recod Copy Services

Review: A Sacramento, CA, doctor named [redacted] retired and advised that my medical records were sent to Pergerson & Associates in Stockton for record archiving. I was advised to send $30 to the business's PO Box 7577, Stockton, CA 95267, to obtain a copy of my records by email. I did so by check mailed July 3, 2013. Neither the check nor records request have been processed, and I have received no response whatsoever. Numerous telephone calls to the business's direct line (209-474-3020) and its 888-959-1748 number over the past two weeks have been unsuccessful as only an answering machine can be reached. My several messages left on Pergerson's answering machine at both numbers have also not been responded to. I need and am legally entitled to obtain a copy of my medical records, but am unable to do so because Pergerson & Associates is simply not contactable and is non-responsive. They do have a website at www.pergerson.com that states the business "moves with the speed of today's business." But they cannot be contacted by email, or mail or telephone for that matter, and have proven to be unwilling to move at all.

I need Pergerson & Associates to do what they claim they are in business to do - respond and provide a copy of my medical records archived there. Since Pergerson refuses to respond to me at all, I am hoping a complaint and request for assistance to the Revdex.com may result in some action and response on their part. This complaint should also be posted so the medical community and consumers who rely on access to medical records are aware that this business is non-responsive.

As noted in my prior update, I received a phone call finally from Matt Pergerson of Pergerson & Associates on August 5. Yesterday, on August 12, I received the medical records I had requested back on July 3. My case and complaint are thus resolved. And the complaint would never have been necessary had Matt Pergerson simply returned my phone calls rather than ignoring my messages for over two weeks.

Review: My mother been trying to contact this company for 8 month because Dr [redacted] was her liver doctor and he moved. He sent her records to [redacted] and we sent the money to have the records sent to a new doctor. They haven't yet.
