Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Thru the findings of damages from my insurance company and due to the nature of "checking for additional wet conditions", Perilous times created the cosmetic outlook of the current cabinets by drilling holes at the base of 50% of the cabinets. The owner of Perilous Times was instrumental and very familiar with insurance appraisals, adjustments, and reimbursements of the repairs needed. In fact--he originally stated that I would only pay the deductible at the beginning of the project and would not pay the remaining balance until ALL work was completed. When the initial contract was set and signed, flooring and cabinetry were discussed, agreed upon, and planned for repairs. Because he had completed the flooring portion of the repairs and needed to pay his team for the job, he asked for additional payment. Against my better judgment and thru discussion of my concerns with PTR Owner, I TRUSTED his word when he stated "I promise, we will not forget about you and your cabinets".The internal limitations of the repairing company does not and SHOULD NOT rest on the customer. Agreed terms of contract conditions were discussed initially and throughout each phase of repair, loss of internal manpower is not at the fault of the consumer, therefore should be resolved by the contractor based of the agreed contract terms. At the very least, the repairing of the holes drilled into the cabinets should be repaired as initially agreed upon. By incompletion of the agreed contract due to no fault of the customer-the contract is considered anticipatory breach of contract and therefore should be resolved by Perilous Times. I, as the customer, should NOT have to restart and re-research companies when I was initially guaranteed that flooring and cabinetry work was to be completed by Perilous Times. If this is how Perilous Times Restoration conducts business--consumers should be aware that there is a 50/chance their work may or may not be completed and to have a "back up" plan in place
Regards,

unrelated to Perilous. At that time it was explain to the customer and we were looking to find a resolve .It was clear after a few weeks that We were uncomfortable with the subs that were refer to us threw suppliers and other contractors to work on our behalf and provide exceptional service for Ms [redacted] . Perilous Times at that time felt it was in in the best interest of both parties to not do work that was possibly sub standard . We made a hard choice to let the customer know why we made the choice and we stood on it . Ms. [redacted] was told to please reach out to another contractor to do the cabinets. Ms.[redacted] refused to see the valve of a honest contractor that refused to take on something that was potential going to be a problem , no money was paid to Perilous for this work and she was free from obligation to us to seek out a company possibly threw the Revdex.com. Finally From the owners perspective it is every difficult to not follow threw on the original scope of repairs However I could not foresee the event leading up to the refusal of services . I had two choices 1. hire just any one of the streets and hope for the best and potently leave Ms.[redacted] home in worst shape and lose credibility as a company for truly poor workmanship. 2. Explain We were not taking on that project and allow her to hire a contractor so that she gets Quality work. Perilous believes we made the right choice
