Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It is good to see that the Revdex.com was able to get a response from this company; however, I stand by my original complaint There is no reason I would fabricate a scenario regarding their dishonest presentation Again, I made it very clear that I was trying to reach Norton at the onslaught of our interaction I more than once offered to give the case # I had received from the real Norton rep the previous evening, and not once did the first Peritus service representative say, "Oh, sorry, ma'am, we are not Norton, you have reached Peritus solutions." I also let them know the reason I was calling was to simply have Norton reinstalled because it had been deinstalled the previous evening for the purposes of trying to fix the WiFi problemAfter this first rep spent a size able amount of time talking and telling me that he could resolve my problem, he transferred me to a second rep whom he said would be the one working to "fix" and improve my computerThis is the man who sent me the bill via e-mail The company was still "working" on my computer while even after I Sent the billing infoNot one of the claims they made about the services they were providing actually turned out to be valid at the end of the day1) after using my computer for a bit, I saw that it did not run "significantly faster" as they claimed it would2) the WIFI problem they promised to resolve and were claiming now after nine hours of "working" on my computer that they would call back in two days to try and "fix" again was still not workingAfter calling HP that same night, They were able to find and fix the problem in less than minutes for less than $50, and unlike Peritus, they got straight to the point instead of trying to talk me into a whole bunch of other unnecessarys 3) the anti malware that was purported to be a lifetime installment was actually a trial offer So, again, I am very dissatisfied with the business practices of whomever I dealt with at Peritus Solutions If the company feels that they are being wrongly accused and don't as a practice train their employees to carry on in less than honest ways, then the company needs to make sure each of their employees is following their "said" protocols of good, honest and straightforward business Regards, [redacted] ***
