Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12306669, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThere is a lot to unpack here, but I'll do my bestLet's start with the true part My wife was very angryShe was angry because he came in, checked our air filter, declared that the problem and tried to collect his check However, it was his raised voice that woke me up, not my wife'sIt was my first day off in two weeks and I was trying to sleep in He was in the process of telling my wife he would have our warrantee nullified if we didn't pay We've had several conversations with HWA since then and discovered this is not possible His claim that the compressor was in bad shape He has no way of knowing that He never inspected the compressor I'm not sure what he means about "first vendor" He was the first vendor The second one fixed the problem There have been no other vendors associated with this claim The most telling part of his reply, and the most disturbing, is the disgustingly bold and blatant lie we tried to have the check canceled I can produce bank records that the money was given to him If I had canceled the check, that would not have happened and I'm sure we would be going through other legal issues because of it If I had tried to have it canceled and for some reason been unsuccessful, the bank would never have told him due to a variety of confidentiality and banking laws This is the man Mr Perkins is He is a con man His reviews are evidence to support that My wife also wants me to point out he brought his young grandson with him to the call I'm not terribly chuffed about it myself, but it is a small sign of unprofessional behavior on his part Long and short, he was paid for performing services he did not even try to provide A more skilled technician was able to correctly diagnose the problem in an easily countable number of minutes He threatened to have our warrantee nullified, something that is apparently not possible as per HWANow he is claiming I tried to not pay him, something that is preposterous on its face Three strikes I'd like my money back After applying insult to injury, I think it's only fair [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12306669, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. There is no way he could have known the system was dirty because he never took off the cowling to see it.  For that matter, the fact that it was indeed low on freon should have been a clue that something was greviously wrong because it is a "sealed system".  For it to be low, a part has to be broken.  The next company that came out to inspect the system opened the casing up and was able to determine the problem in approximately five minutes. As for their reputation speaking for itself, that's true.  If you read their reviews online, you'll see a number of complaints very much like mine.  He made a snap decision based on a dirty air filter and never went forward with any other inspection.  I'm sure there are things this company does well, but AC maintenance is not one of them

PerkinsA/C responded to a second opinion complaint from a Home Warranty customer locate at the above mentioned address who was very hard to please. Our finding were short and to the point .We found the system very dirty and working in a vacuum state due to low refrigerant and restricted air flow on the condenser coil and evaporator coil .We added refrigerant and advised the customer to have system chemically clean and flashed thoroughly with water and fluids ( ASAP )  . The customer became Irate  and anger because I told them they cause the compressor to work extra hard due to lack of maintenance on their part causing thr valves to be damaged  . The first vendor didn’t have any good news for them also they request a third person outside of Home Warranty input .This Customer were not true with their statement concerning our company receiving money from them all we collected was 100.00 trade cost fee do us .The customer try to cancel the check which they signed in Home Warranty  contract to be responsible for their ( 100.00 ) trade cost upon service calls .This customer ( female ) was very disrespectful  to the point where the male came out to continue talking to me because I was about to stop work and notified  Home Warranty concerning this claim of  harassment but the husband and I resolved the matter  quickly convincing me that everything would be alright if I continue working and communicating with him and not his wife “ and I did “ . Before I left this home the wife and the husband and I all Apologized smiling leaving this home but I can see now it wasn’t real but I stay  professional during my job .

I am a technician with Perkins A/C & Heat LLC we arrived at 5[redacted] , 07/03/2017 09:am -11:am to address a second opinion decision from another Vendor ( from Home Warranty Company )concerning their Air condition system not cooling properly!!!I troubled shot the...

complete system, which were working in a vacuum state mode and found the system very dirty on the condenser unit and the evaporator coil ,found restricted operation due to dirty coils.The filter had not been change for several months and the drain line had clog condensation in the PVC pipe.I checked the refrigerant level at the condenser unit outside and advised Alex Quinby it was 1.5 pounds low.After checking with the Home Warranty company for approval of the added refrigerant they advised the customer had no extra cost they would pay Perkins A/C directly.The customer wanted the compressor change right away but we advised the customer Alex , to have maintenance performed on the system first.This cleaning would give us a better rating on the system due to customer failing to perform proper maintenance.The customer was required by Home Warranty to pay the up front trade cost of a 100.00 which is due all customer, to the on site vendor agreement through their signed contract .This customer was not happy with our technical diagnostic finding which we recorded with Home Warranty reports we have been with the Home Warranty Company for 9 years, our records speaks for itself thanking you in advance .
