I brought my Jeep to perkins motors on 4/1/to have recalls completed, I wanted an extra key made, a tire sensor replaced or repaired and asked for an estimate to repair oil leaks and have the ac fixed due to low air flowI asked the service writer to keep costs under $The quote I was given was approximately $more than the estimate I got from an independent shopOf course I wanted the independent shop to complete the repairsOn 4/5/I went to pick up my Jeep and the bill was $The ac still did not work correctly, the tire sensor was not repaired, I still have the error message, and a key was not cutThe issue was resolved to perkins satisfaction not mine by a $refundI had contacted Jeep Corpwith the details of the service received and recently was e-mailed a respose from Jeep Corpthat no one from perkins answered or returned their callsI want to inform as many people as possible about the service I received

The Perkins Motor Company service salesman told me that at 60,miles, my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport service manual recommended a flush and refill of my manual transmission fluid Perkins said they would be happy to perform this service for $ In truth, the service manual states that the manual transmission fluid is good for the life of the vehicle (unless I tow, plow snow, or use as a police vehicle) The manual transmission fluid did not need to be changed, and the salesman tried to sell services that were not indicated (The salesman also tried to sell me a differential oil change that was performed at Perkins just months prior)Beware of going in for an oil change and coming out with a $200-bill for needless services Don't be an easy target for their slick service salesmen

Was disappointed over all Knew we had little time and conveyed in e-mails so pre -approved financing with Perkins to speed up the process of buying a used car, still took over hours Told company max we wanted to spend on payments, and kept quoting higher payments, up to more per month and when we didn't buy extended warranty and extras were not as friendly or when we told them after hours we had an appointment We traveled 1/ hours to buy the car did not feel valued as a customer at all Still have not received our owners manual or remote for DVD We are happy with the car But not the car buying process

I took my Charger with 5,miles in for service on 10/21/2014, and because the service engine light was onI met ***, *** and *** the shuttle driver who are great assets to the Perkins company/familyTheir customer service was above excellent as I was acknowledged upon arriving and asked if I needed any helpI arrived at 8:am and spoke with *** *** to explain what I needed done to my carHe informs me with the engine light on he'd have to check an see if it would be covered under warrantyMy car has 5,miles on it and its a 2014, yes it should be covered under warranty*** asked if I could leave the car an I asked to be called when it was readyI received a call 11:am to inform me my car needed several updates an the oil change and tire rotation had been completed and he would contact me when my car was finishedAt 2:pm I received a call my car was ready for pickupI arrived to pick up my car, put one leg in my car and hadn't sit down when I noticed the engine light still onI'm upset at this point as they've had my car all day and didn't complete the main reason as to why I brought it there in the first placeI spoke with *** (the it) he informs me that the light wasn't on when he drove it from the bayIf it was on when I got ready to get it in, it was on when he pulled it from the bay and didn't notice it*** was apologetic once he realized my discontent and disgust for the serviceHis apology was falling on death earsHe said he'd make an appointment for my car to see why the service engine light was onI asked why wasn't it done while they had my car all day and that's one of the things I brought it in there forHe couldn't answer meI told him I didn't want an appointment I wanted my car fixed*** informed me they close at 5:*** said I could take my car but if the service engine light starts to blink I must pull it over immediately, turn it off and call a tow truckI informed him that I wanted my car fixed and I'd be leaving it and to get it fixedI trusted them to do their job and to do it right the first timeI asked to speak to whoever was in charge and I was told *** *** was gone for the dayI asked to speak to whomever was next in charge and was informed it was *** and he was on a callI said I'd waitI walked back to ***'s area and waited*** got off the phone and started to make another call but ask *** what he wanted*** explained the situation to himNever once did *** acknowledge me as a valued customerI asked *** who worked on my car and he explained he didn't knowI asked was he good, and *** informed me he'd let him work on his car but his wasn't a new oneWell if you didn't know who worked on my car how would you know if you'd let him work on yoursI explained to *** how I wasn't concerned about his car we were talking about mineWhen *** got off his call he walked past me to speak with a lady who was getting ready to leaveAgain he did not acknowledge me in any wayI left my vehicle and returned home highly upsetOn 10/22/at 9:am I contacted the service department and I was transferred by a lady who had no customer service as well, an seemed very dry when she answered the phoneI left a message for ***At 11:am I hadn't heard anything back from *** so I contacted *** ***, well that was just as much of a joke as dealing with the rest of themHe said he would check on what was going on with my car and get back to meDuring the conversation at 11:am conveniently I received a call that they were test driving my car as it was a sensor light that needed to be replaced and they wanted to make sure the light doesn't come back onAt 11:am I left a message for *** ***, but no return callAt 12:pm I received a call they were still out driving my car and it shouldn't be too much longerThis time I'm furious as they've been driving my car for over an hourAt 12:I received a call my car was readyWhen I got there to pick up my car they couldn't find my car keys and then they couldn't find the correct paperwork so I don't know if they fixed the sensor light or notI received the same paperwork for the work prior to the work which was doneI personally will never take my vehicle back to them

Stay away from this place if you car breaks down!!! The minute I spoke to person dealing with my car I knew I had made a mistake by bringing my car thereI think her name was Bess and she was rude to me and to the employeesAs I was waiting by her station an employee comes around and she starts ripping into him about not filing some papers correctlyHello!!!! There's a customer in front of you! So unprofessional
Anyway my car wouldn't start so it had to be towed to the dealership to get it repairedgot multiple phone calls and everytime there was another fee I needed to pay in order to move forwardLong story short I spent $and the next day the car was having issues starting againDid not bringing back worried they were going to find another way to charge me another $

(The salesman also tried to sell me a differential oil change that was performed at Perkins just 3 months prior). Beware of going in for an oil change and coming out with a $200-500 bill for needless services. Don't be an easy target for their slick service salesmen.

We traveled 5 1/2 hours to buy the car did not feel valued as a customer at all. Still have not received our owners manual or remote for DVD. We are happy with the car. But not the car buying process.

I brought my 2004 Jeep to perkins motors on 4/1/2015 to have recalls completed, I wanted an extra key made, a tire sensor replaced or repaired and asked for an estimate to repair oil leaks and have the ac fixed due to low air flow. I asked the service writer to keep costs under $500. The quote I was given was approximately $3000.00 more than the estimate I got from an independent shop. Of course I wanted the independent shop to complete the repairs. On 4/5/2015 I went to pick up my Jeep and the bill was $1712.01. The ac still did not work correctly, the tire sensor was not repaired, I still have the error message, and a key was not cut. The issue was resolved to perkins satisfaction not mine by a $516.00 refund. I had contacted Jeep Corp. with the details of the service received and recently was e-mailed a respose from Jeep Corp. that no one from perkins answered or returned their calls. I want to inform as many people as possible about the service I received.

This was the best car buy experience I have had. Robert our sales man was very nice and caring. We has been to other Chrysler dealers that were rude and very pushy. Robert was nothing like the other salesmen that we have had in the past. Brittany was our finance person we filled out an application online and she had us finance with a few hours. I would recommend Perkins to everyone.
