Review: On August **, 2013 I bought two bags at the above mentioned store, PERLA ROZE PARIS, located at [redacted]. I paid $169.84 using my [redacted]. The bags where advertised as Italian and French, genuine leather, being sold at 90% discount. The tags inside the bags state that the material was Genuine Leather. On bringing the bags home I realized that they had been made of man made material in China. I contacted the store immediately concerning the return. They just laughed at me and pointed out that all sales are final, they are going out of business. I checked if there were any complains about them on internet and, sure enough, found customers who got into the same situation with this establishment. Being on a very touristy place, in the middle of Manhattan, they trap a lot of tourists this way. They have this sign forever, I passed them a few times after and the sign is still there. Nevertheless, I went to the store and tried to solve the problem by just returning bags that I bought the day before. They refused. I contacted my credit card company, sent all supporting documentation including copies of the receipt and photos of the bags and inside labels and tags. They came back to me with Investigation Complete status and did not do anything to help me to get my money back.Desired Settlement: Accept a return and credit my credit card for a full price paid.

"I have been contacted by the Perla Rose manager regarding my Complain ID: [redacted].He told me to bring merchandise for a credit card refund. The refund was processed by my credit card company. I don't have any issue with Perla Rose store at this moment. I still believe that they misrepresent merchandise they sell.

Please close my complain.

Review: This store is advertising 90% off it's merchandise because they are going out of business. They kept assuring me that all of their handbags were genuine leather designer handbags from Paris and their prices were so low because they were going out of business, and all sales were final. Upon taking the merchandise home I found labels that proved to me that handbags were not genuine leather but vinyl. The handbags and wallets were NOT from France. They purposefully misled me and violated my rights as a consumer. I later researched the store and found other consumers were also fooled as well. I called the store and the woman REFUSED to admit that their merchandise was fake and hung up the phone on me. Please help change the store policy so that people do not spend their hard earned money on fake merchandise.Desired Settlement: I would like the store policy to be changed and the 90% signs to be removed from the store window. They are obviously not going out of business. I would also like an apology from the owner.

This business is advertising all stock at 90% off. When asked why they are discounting the the merchandise so much they explained that thier rent had been increased by 300%. I purchased a crystal purse described as Swarovski crystal for my daughter for 300.00. When I got back to my hotel, I discovered that similar purses sell on [redacted] for well under 100.00 dollars. An Internet search revealed that others have had the same experience with this business. I was misled because there was a storefront. I am unable to attempt to return the material, as I have to catch a flight home. This business likely takes advantage of visitors. No one likes to be misled and cheated!

Review: On November **, 2013, we went into this store and purchased two purses for a total price of $326.60. We were told by the salesperson that these items were made in Italy and were 100% genuine leather. After the purchase we went home and opened the package and discovered labels on both items that read "made in China." Concerned, we took the items to a leather store, where the proprietor tested the material and told us they were vinyl, not leather. After googling the store, we discovered dozens of complaints from customers describing the exact same complaint about this store. We called the store and spoke to the same salesperson who had helped us, who told us she was the owner. When we told her that the items were vinyl and made in China, she told us she had an emergency and hung up the phone. We have called back repeatedly since then and the phone has never been answered.Desired Settlement: Based on our experience and the other reviews we've seen online, this store seems to be entirely fraudulent. At the very least, we would like to be reimbursed for our purchases.
