Revdex.com: I would like to reject the offer of Arbitration for complaint ID [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: In response to the owner’s reply to my complaint - he makes out like they DO stand by life time - year warranty, and then goes on to rip me, the customer apart I have attached e-mails, a small sample, of some updates when I sought them to take care of what they sold He is making it out like I do not clean my deck, cement, floors Nothing is further from the truth I am ONE person so my traffic and my dirt is minimal I also have a gardener and a home cleaning service that does my floor every two weeks I clean everything daily so his implication that his product is not sufficient because I am unclean is RUDE at best The signed documentation that I was happy, they have you sign when they are immediately done Firstly, to even have someone sign that, made me uneasy, but yes, all looked well immediately after Such a document is a “self protective paper at best - it was how long it looked good and the lack of improvement that is the issue Then he goes on to say I was improper in my wording about the cement treatment - OK, I am not a cement worker - so the product “did not come up” the product also did not improve the look of the cement and make it easier to clean If these photos come through, you shall see The guarantee wording is that it “enhances” That never happenedI am not complaining about what nature does to the cement, causing some of the rocks to come up because of snow The product does not work so telling you how many times I called, wrote, or they came out is not my fault - it is their lack of integrity and standing by their product and also selling something but not honoring their warranties My original Complaint sets forth my exact complaints and reasons for waiting, i.ethem telling me to wait for good weather, them coming out and cancelling or never showing My e-mails written and re-written with no response I believe they should come out and re-surface the cement or whatever he wants to call the procedure, should my kitchen floors which they told me would look like the advertisement and NEVER looked like the photos they showed me and I immediately told them so In exchange I will release them from the warranties they entered into and will have nothing to do with them in the future That would be a great resolve for them and a wonderful way for me to cut my losses I have many more photos - the floor, the cement, the kitchen tile if necessary Bottom line I think my original complaint says it all Insulting the customer instead of standing by your word is where this all goes I spent this money in good faith since their main selling pitch is how they stand by their product and their customers That is why you spend so much money with them

Revdex.com Complaint ID: *** *** RE: ** ***
At Perma Treat, we offer a one-time sealing of any stone or tile surfaces including concreteOur advertisements state that after sealing, your surfaces will repel water, be easier to clean because the sealer repels stains, and our Lifetime
warranty will ensure that we stand by our products (Lifetime warranty on indoor surfaces and year warranty on outdoor surfaces)We also offer maintenance services that we can schedule if they would like us to take care of their sealed surfacesHowever, if a complaint and request for warranty work is determined to be a cleaning issue (meaning the customer has not cleaned the surface) by our workers, we will charge the customer $for the trip and $for the workThis is stated on a document signed by the customer at the time of the service. Perma Treat’s contact with ** *** started with an estimate of indoor surfaces, followed by her booking the work to be done on 6/11/She had us treat her kitchen counter and floor, master bathroom counter, master bathroom shower, and guest bathroom floor, counter, and showerWe have signed documentation that she was happy with the service at the timeThis was followed with another estimate for her front and back patio which she also booked on 7/28/2015, paid, and was happy with at the time. On 8/25/2015, *** ***, the owner of Perma Treat, met with ** *** to discuss a complaint we received from her about grout that was degradingWanting to please the customer, we offered to re-grout the area she was concerned with on 9/9/and returned on 9/16/to seal the areas we had redone** *** was not charged at all for the warranty work even though this was determined to be a cleaning issueThe product was working as advertised under inspection by Perma Treat workers. Perma Treat has returned to her home because of complaints on five separate occasions, each of which was determined to be a cleaning issue where she was not charged for the tripAfter returning for warranty work on 7/12/because she claims that our treatment on her concrete patio was “coming up” and “needs another coat”The products we use are penetrating and don’t sit on the surface, it is invisible once driedThere is no way the product could be “coming up” and additional coats are unnecessaryThe issue was determined to be dirt on the patio, which our sealer does not prevent againstOur worker sprayed the dirt off and she was happyAgain, ** *** was not charged for the tripThe product was working as advertised under inspection by Perma Treat workers. Each time we return to her home Perma Treat has fixed any issue that she has had, per the warranty, and each time it is determined that the surface has not been cleaned by the customerAfter being advised by the owner that our treatment is not a substitute for cleaning, we still returned for warranty workHer claim that we are not honoring our warranty is as we have documentation that we have fixed any issue she has had. This complaint follows directly after the owner had spoken to ** ***, telling her the product is working as advertised and if we have to return for warranty work that determined to be a cleaning issue we will charge her

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
In response to the owner’s reply to my complaint -
he makes out like they DO stand by life time - 15 year warranty, and then goes on to rip me, the customer apart.  I have attached e-mails, a small sample, of some updates when I sought them to take care of what they sold.
He is making it out like I do not clean my deck, cement, floors.  Nothing is further from the truth.  I am ONE person so my traffic and my dirt is minimal.  I also have a gardener and a home cleaning service that does my floor every two weeks.  I clean everything daily so his implication that his product is not sufficient because I am unclean is RUDE at best.

The signed documentation that I was happy, they have you sign when they are immediately done.  Firstly, to even have someone sign that, made me uneasy, but yes, all looked well immediately after.  Such a document is a “self protective paper at best - it was how long it looked good and the lack of improvement that is the issue.

Then he goes on to say I was improper in my wording about the cement treatment - OK, I am not a cement worker - so the product “did not come up” the product also did not improve the look of the cement and make it easier to clean.  If these photos come through, you shall see.  The guarantee wording is that it “enhances”.  That never happened. I am not complaining about what nature does to the cement, causing some of the rocks to come up because of snow.  The product does not work so telling you how many times I called, wrote, or they came out is not my fault - it is their lack of integrity and standing by their product and also selling something but not honoring their warranties.

My original Complaint sets forth my exact complaints and reasons for waiting, i.e. them telling me to wait for good weather, them coming out and cancelling or never showing.  My e-mails written and re-written with no response.

I believe they should come out and re-surface the cement or whatever he wants to call the procedure, should re-do my kitchen floors which they told me would look like the advertisement and NEVER looked like the photos they showed me and I immediately told them so.  In exchange I will release them from the warranties they entered into and will have nothing to do with them in the future.  That would be a great resolve for them and a wonderful way for me to cut my losses.

I have many more photos - the floor, the cement, the kitchen tile if necessary.  Bottom line I think my original complaint says it all.  Insulting the customer instead of standing by your word is where this all goes.  I spent this money in good faith since their main selling pitch is how they stand by their product and their customers.  That is why you spend so much money with them.
