PermaFlex Ceramic Coatings

Review: We had Perma Flex paint our house after Katrina. There is supposed to be a lifetime warranty. I have an area on a window sill which has bubbled up and left bare wood exposed. I have called several times and left messages and written at least one e mail, but have had no response.Desired Settlement: I would like the area properly prepped and re painted with the ceramic coating at the contractor's expense. This would honor the warranty.

Review: Permaflex Ceramic Coatings, LLC - Under the ownership of Dave S[redacted] - promises a 25 year Warranty as noted on their FACEBOOK page and his advertisements at Home and Garden shows as well as in person.Last year, approximately APRIL 2014, I paid (IN FULL) Mr. S[redacted] to apply his advertised product (permaflex elastomeric coatings) to my double shotgun home in the Historic Neighborhood of Algiers Point. The work included repairing siding, re-furbishing original windows and applying their elastomeric/ceramic coating to the home. Mr. S[redacted]'s crew completed work and received their final payment from my wife before I could review the work completed. I asked him to walk the exterior with me and his painter to make sure I was satisfied with the work and that there were no deficiencies. This never happened. Within a few weeks areas of the application, along both sides of the home, started splitting along the siding laps. Further, the bases of columns in the front of the home also started splitting. I made Mr. S[redacted] aware immediately by phone and email with pictures. Over the past several months I've continuously tried to contact asking him to return my correspondences. He has made no effort to come and speak with me or offer a resolution. I was finally able to get him on the phone in May of this year (because I had a new work cell phone I called him from). He claimed his painting crew was out of the country visiting family over the Christmas / New Years Holiday which is why they have not come out to address the issues. That was two months ago and still he has made no efforts to contact me to schedule this work. Two weeks ago I tried calling him again with no response. I sent another email to him at his business email and personal; and still no response.I consider this Poor business practices to say the least and a violation of his own claims for this product and his Warranty.Desired Settlement: I want PermaFlex Ceramic Coatings, LLC (via Mr. Dave S[redacted]) to honor their work and Warranty. I want him to either come out and resolve the issues; and if not, he should work with me to come up with a value that he will credit back to me so I can pay a more reputable installer to do so. I believe this may require additional coats of application and repair work in the front.
