Permanent Cosmetics by Lynanne Reviews (2)

Dear Sir/Madam: This letter is in response to a complaint by Dawn ***.I did see Ms*** on August 30, 2017, and just as I do with every client, I gave Ms*** forms to fill out prior to any permanent cosmetic procedureI am attaching a copy of the Informed Consent page for your
reviewThis consent is signed by Ms*** and each of the statements are initialed by her, indicating that she read each of the statementsPlease note that one of the statements is that the client understands that they are responsible for color shape and position of the pigments. I draw the proposed brow on each client and get approval from the client before proceeding with any permanent makeup procedureThe client and I work together during the design processI use a brow pencil to draw the proposed brow and then give the client a mirror to look at the design, and make changes that the client wantsI drew the proposed brow on Ms*** as well and gave her a mirror to look at her brows during the design processI made numerous changes to design until Ms*** approved the designShe seemed happy with the brow design and commented that she believed the design gave her a more youthful appearanceAfter the design process, I asked Ms*** if it would be ok to remove the brow hair that did not fall into the designShe said that it was okI also asked Ms*** if she thought that she would be able to maintain the removal of hairs that fell outside the design and she said she thought soI did all of this before I performed the tattoo processI never begin tattooing freehand, I always draw the brow on first and go around the design, implanting pigment in the edge of the design before applying anestheticPermanent cosmetics does not always include all of the brow hair area and does not change any of the natural hair propertiesMs*** was happy with the design and looked at herself in the mirror multiple times before and after the procedure.I am including a copy of text communication between Ms*** and I on 9/4/and again on 9/12/The communication on 9/4/was before the brows were totally healedThis raises a questionDid she understand everything she found while researching and change her mind later? This would mean that it would not have mattered who preformed the procedure the maintenance would be the sameHowever; she brings up concerns after the fact in the textI did speak with Ms*** by phoneI asked her to please wait for the brow procedure to heal.I have been doing permanent cosmetics for over years with no complaintsI do permanent cosmetics because I want to help people look their best and make their daily routine easierI truly thought Ms*** was happy with the brows I drew on her before I tattooed them.j believe that I worked with Ms*** to design the brows that she approved before I began tattooingI did not freehand brows on herI have an informed consent signed and each point initialed by Ms***, indicating that she read and acknowledged each statementI also have copies of text messages that seem to suggest that Ms*** may have changed her mind after the procedureHowever; if you believe that should refund Ms*** the cost of the procedure, and that would be a satisfactory resolution for Ms***, I am willing to do thatPlease note, however, that this refund will only be made as a full and final settlement of any claims she alleges in this matter.Sincerely, Lynanne ***

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I was not given a mirror and I did not have an opportunity to see any design that may or may not have been drawn on my brows.   I made the appointment to have natural hair strokes placed within my natural brow, not to have my brow relocated. Had I been given the opportunity to see that she intended to raise my brow a quarter inch or more I would have declined the procedure. Ms [redacted]’  response is almost entirely fabrication; I particularly and strenuously object to her comment about discussing maintenance; I wanted permanent eyebrow enhancement because I am quite ill and do not always feel well enough to wear make up.  I wanted a bit of enhancement to my natural brow so I might look better without make up. I would never, under any circumstances, have a greed to a procedure that would require additional maintenance. Possibly, [redacted] routinely draws on a template then allows the customer to look before proceedingvwith the permanent procedure, but in this case she failed to do so. As I said in my complaint, I made the appointment for micro blading, not the procedure I received. I had no way of knowing what she was doing because I could not see what she was doing. I spoke with her on the phone  when I made the appointment. I was crystal clear… I wanted micro bladed hair strokes placed within my natural brow. I reiterated that when I arrived at the salon and explained that I was ill and simply wanted to enhance my natural brow. It is my believe Mrs. [redacted] was distracted and not listening. She arrived late for the appointment, her phone rang several times and she responded to texts several times, and she had visitors twice who were eager to know how soon she would be ready to leave. She looked at the clock several times during the procedure.
Regards,
[redacted]
