Permanent Reflections, LLC Permanent Makeup & Training Reviews (1)

Hi my name is Carolyn [redacted], I own Permanent Reflections, LLC & Midwest Permanent Makeup & Apprenticeship, LLC.  I was out of town til yesterday and received my mail today and had the complaint from a [redacted], complaint #[redacted]. Ms [redacted] came into Midwest Permanent...

Makeup and had her brows done by one of my apprentice's Janet [redacted], she in Mary's hair stylist who is doing her 200 hours of permanent makeup procedures to get her Minnnesota tattoo license.   She came in on May 16th, 2017, @ 11am for her brow appointment, brows where done and she received her after care sheet which tells her how to take care of the procedure during healing process and also tell that the follow up appointment must be done within 90 days of her initial appointment, cost for her initial appointment is hugely discounted so these apprentices can get clients in to do there hours, she paid $125 for her initial appointment and her follow up would be $50 within the 90 days, after 90 days which was August 14th, 2017 it would be full price of $125. The form she received and was gone over with her before she left her first appointment is attached to this email.  It goes to all clients. [redacted] contacted me on August 8th at 1pm, and ask to get her appointment scheduled, I asked her when her initial appointment was, she couldn't remember so I looked it up and saw it was May 8th, I told her that her 90 days was up on the 16th, which is actually 92 days, but I told her Janet couldn't get in before that, and she was going on vacation on the 11th, and I was totally booked  up til the 25th, because I was going on vacation on the 16th-23.  She got very angry at me and said I was a bad business person, and that she should be able to get in, I told her the I'm sorry but I have no openings not even with another tech.  She said she was never told she couldn't get in on short notice and I said that she needs to understand that this is a time sensitive thing and she should have called sooner to get in, she hung up on me. I contacted her technician and asked her if she had reminded her about her touch up, and she said she did at her last hair appointment and that she needed to call, she also was told by Janet that she was going on vacation on the 11th so she needed to get booked.  I have 10 apprentices I don't contact their clients about touch ups that is their job, Ms [redacted]'s complaint is towards the wrong business, Permanent Reflections is not the business she needed to send the complaint it's towards Midwest, and she also needs to take responsibility for her not keeping track of the days and getting in for a touch up on time.  I note on the bottom of the after care sheet there are no exceptions for the touch up of 90 days if she was my client she would be paying $300 for a touch up if the 90 days was going to be past. There are no exceptions. Any questions please call ###-###-#### Carolyn [redacted] Owner/Supervisor Midwest Permanent Makeup & Apprenticeship, LLC
