Pernell Gerver's Online Store

I've ordered multiple plants, multiple times, from Pernell Gerver's online store. All of my experiences have been good. The plants themselves are robust, healthy, gorgeous specimens. They're well packed & suffered no damage in their travels to Boston. I really love the selection and quality. If I had to point to one issue that needs improving it would be communication.. It seems many of the negative customer reviews concern lack of communication & it's the only thing that I found wanting. Other than that, I love Pernell Gerver's online store & would shop with him again. Thank you.

I ordered plants weeks before Christmas as was pretty excited to give unique gifts to my familyAfter I placed my order, I googled the company and read several negative reviews and immediately emailed Pernell with my concernsWithin a day I received an email back assuring me that my order would be shipped after the weekend, as he did not want the plants sitting in s box for daysAnd sure enough...,my order came and was perfect!!!! Even my fairy garden was in excellent condition!!!!! Thought that should be said as it looks as if he is a small business and negative reviews often can hurt these company's

On Nov11, I ordered: Philodendron 'Prince of Orange' Philodendron 'Pink Princess' Red Emerald Philodendron Cast Iron Plant Zebra Plant Mini Split Leaf Philodendron Split Leaf Philodendron shipped via USPS Priority Mail On Novit shippedDays later it arrived in Minnesota (right before a snow storm); Everything was very well packedEach plant pot was taped shut and well wrapped with newspaperThen paper was curled and padded and supportiveEach plant was laid sideways in a big sturdy box with holes near the upper lid for airThe box was well labeled with caution, live plantsWith a heat and cold warningI rushed home (before the snow-literally as the storm arrived)And everything was lush, well rooted, well watered, and gorgeousI will definitely order from him againBUT!! I will pay more attention to the weather and seasonNov-April in MN is a big NO NO for live plant delivery! I feel like he might not respond to emailI mean he doesn't even list his address online....butI gotta saythese plants were way way better that a lot of places online that I've triedI am very happy

The product I received was not the product I ordered and paid forI would have purchased from a local outlet, but I work long hours and many days; I work hard for my paycheck and I don't appreciate throwing funds awayI have recently read many reviews inline, most negativeI am surprised the Revdex.com has done nothing to protect the consumer with regards to this business; apparently plant growers just aren't a worthy value for their timeI will never shop this business again, and I wouldn't have this time had the Revdex.com gave a heads up to the consumerFile a complaint? Like Revdex.com would investigate any of it; simply not enough money in it for themAs an RN, I guess it's a good thing I don't think that way with my patients

On April 5, I ordered a hard-to-find hoya plant from the company's web siteNormally I do an online check before ordering but in this case I was so excited to find my plant at a reasonable price that I omitted this stepI paid $for the plant and $for 3-day delivery which never arrivedI waited about ten days to contact the company and ask when I could expect my plantNo answer was forthcomingI emailed a 2nd time, same non-responseI checked an online watchdog site for ordering online and found a site with 100% negative reviews, all having the same experience as minePayment was accepted but the merchandise was never sentI can't believe he is allowed to advertise onlineThis is an ongoing scam perpetrated by someone who takes money from honest people with no intention of ever delivering the plants that they orderedPlease do not patronize this siteYou will lose your money and never hear from the vendor again
