I almost filed a claim in small claims court against this organization because they failed to return my security deposit within 30 days of the lease cancellation date, despite several communications. This organization also lied about mailing out the check to return the deposit on the 30th day and waited multiple days after the date before mailing. Apparently they don't understand that the US Postal Service postmarks the date when something was brought under their care, which is what the IRS uses to determine whether or not something is late. All around, this is a terrible business that I found to be very incompetent. They purchased a building I was occupying and added my ex-girlfriend back to my lease statements, even though her name was removed at renewal and they did not respond to requests to have her name removed. I recommend you take your business elsewhere.
