Review: [redacted]t with Hayden Appliance or Express Appliance whatever the name of his business maybe came to my home on 3/16/2015 and charged me $80 for a service call to tell me what was wrong with my dryer. After doing a couple of things, he diagnosed the problem as the Main control panel on my dryer. He called in front of me a appliance part place to get the price of the part and told me it was $325.00. I gave him a check on 3/20/2015 in the amount of $325.00 made payable to him personally because he told me it was easier that way to cash the check. He went straight to my bank Chase, the Harahan Branch. I confirmed this with my bank today 4/22/15 and cashed the check. I have called him numerous times and text him numerous times to see if the part was in yet and when will he be able to come and fix the dryer. He told me it would take 3-5 days for the part to come in. After the 5th day, I called him and no response. Finally on Easter he answered my text and he told me he was in Texas and would be back on Monday and will call me to set up an appt. A week went by and no phone call. I called and text him again no answer. My husband called and text him and he finally answered and said he was still in Texas with a sick child and he promises to call when he got back in town. No phone call and no response from messages on voice mail and text. My son called and no answer then he text him and he told him he was on his way back from Texas he would call and set up an appt. and once again no phone call. I have tried several times this week, so has my husband and my son and no response to any of us. I have had it! On 4/22/15 I call the phone# provided on my invoice as to where he was ordering the part from and I was told that they never heard of either of the business names just his personal name. He has not placed an order with them in 3-4 weeks in person or over the phone, they didn't know anything about my dyer part.Desired Settlement: All I want is my dryer fixed but clearly he is not interested in fixing my dryer for me. Now, all I want is my $405.00 back and If can't get results with the Revdex.com, then I will get the police involved and bring him to small claims court with all fees to be paid by him. This is ridiculous and now I am just furious!!!

Review: I called my warranty company to fix my a/c unit sunday. Monday morning they had mr. Edward p[redacted] call and say he would be out here Tuesday. He come tuesday with no license plate nor a business identification of any sort. I thought I could trust my warranty company at that point so I let him in my home. After quoting me 480$ with 330$ up front wrote the check to him personally. He claimed the parts to only be sold in new orleans. So he would be back Wednesday to fix it. At this point I have a newborn and a 1 year old. I HAD to buy a window unit at least to cool one room. It cost 350$. B/c I felt.uncomfortable.I called my neighbors to keep and eye out while I worked the next day. I even told my sister where the gun case key was bc I knew something wasn't right about this guy. The next day he came and claimed the unit to be fixed so my sister whom was babysitting for me gave him the check for the job. When my husband got home he was beyond mad about the job done. We called the warranty company and a man literally got into a screaming match with me bc he claims he did me a favor by sending this man to my house bc we didn't have maintenance on file. We found the previous guy who did maintenance on the unit. (we just purchased our home 7 months ago.) The warranty company sent him out. After the warranty company accused me multiple times of not having maintenance and having a preexisting condition , he learned from the professional we had come that there were no preexisting condition and the "hard start was for our generator." The warranty guy immediately paid the new guy to fix it. 250$ fix vs 480$ edward charged. The job edward did was left unsafe to my family. He wired things improperly, that is a potential fire hazard. This unit is right outside the room me and my family were sleeping in. He used jb weld on copper freon lines. This is never heard of by anyone. He also did not charge the lines with freon like we paid for. He put my family's life in danger and will not respond when asked for refundDesired Settlement: State license company has no record of him being licensed. I want 480$ for the work done. 350$ for the a/c we had to purchase bc our unit was out for a week in 100 degree heat. I truly want this man in jail bc he could have burned my home down. My children are home 90% of the time. I do not feel safe that he even knows where I live bc he is a criminal. I want a compensation of at least 500$ for the work my husband had to miss. A total of 1,330 $ we came out of pocket. Otherwise I will sue him.

Review: He clearly violated the contract by not filing permits under his own name, [redacted] He did not complete services as well as worked while no permit was implemented in the city. He was incompetent and constantly made excuses for not completing the work assigned.Desired Settlement: $3400.00

Review: A technician named [redacted] confirmed, after consulting with an associate by phone (###-###-####), that the repair of our Hotpoint refrigerator was the replacement of the control board which was paid in full upon completion in the sum of $379.25. Unfortunately the diagnostic expertise and new control board did not resolve the freezer problem of defrosting cycle to continually kick on thus causing the ice maker cubes to melt and refreeze along with freezer frosting on frozen foods from thawing and refreezing. The job was done on July 16, 2013. I called him back and he came a second time, in August to check the freezer problem. He suggested to take the ice maker tray out and not make ice cubes to see if the frozen food would have frost showing the thawing/defrosting cycle was working properly. I told him that maybe the cause was a plugged hose. He suggested to try his strategy by not using the ice maker and call him back after two or three days. That visit incurred no cost but he didn't return my call in August in which I would write to the Revdex.com to formally make a complaint for not resolving or fixing the problem or possibly a defective part was used.He immediately called back and asked that I give him a chance to respond to his calls before complaining to the Revdex.com or his employer, Hayden Appliance Repairs. He said he would come back Saturday , August 10 but never came. I texted him and gave the model and make information again but never replied. I called him and left a message December 31 but never returned the call.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund because the job and cost was very expensive while being very inconvenient and it has not resolved the problem therefore adding to the cost of either repairing it or causing more damage to the appliance.
