On November 13, 2019 *** owner of *** Upholstery agreed to reupholster my antique couch and chair. She stated she could do the work and that both pieces would look good as new. A deposit of $150 was provided
We agreed that the work may not be completed in time for the Thanksgiving holiday,but would be ready for sure by December 16, 2019. On January 6, 2020 she called to say the furniture would be delivered, at which time I paid the remanding balance of $655.20.
Upon seeing the furniture, I called and texted pictures showing the condition in which it was returned. Mrs. apologized and agreed to pick the furniture up and fix it. They were picked up on January 8, 2020
After numerous calls and texts, the furniture was once again returned on January 28, 2020. This time there was visible damage to the wood on both pieces including nails sticking out of the wood, broken wood, gaps and tape.The fabric does not line up, has glue all over it and the seat cushions do not match. I will now have to pay another upholstery company to try and fix the damage you have done.
I sent an certified letter of demand to Mrs. on 01/31/2020 to which I have had no response.
