This letter is in response to a notification of a Customer Service Issue Complaint received Via mail notification on 4/25/The customer experience information page is included with my responsefor identification purpose. Mr*** *** contacted the store originally with the complaint of
a double charge on April 21st,with only the concern of a double charge never once did he mention poor food quality. I personally spoke with him and explained to him that because the initial charge had been completely voided and re-rang in because he requested an alteration to his order that the both chargeshe noticed were "pending" and neither charge had been settledI assured him that this was standard with the credit card processors and once the charges are "settled" that only the one order would becharged and he seemed to understandI said that we can give it the weekend and I bet by Monday he would notice that only one of the charges would still appear on his card/statementThe followingMonday he had contacted again stating that both charges were still present on his cardI earlier that morning spoke with our CC processor in hopes of having answers for him before we spokeI told himexactly what I was told and could even see on the back end of the *** (our CC processing company) portal that In fact only ONE of the charges were settled, *** also confirmed that only ONE chargewould be charged to his accountThey (***) explained to me that all banks are different some take a few days longer to drop the "pending' charges. During our second contact Mr*** became very uptightI told him that unfortunately I would not offer him a cash refund because his card will not be charged the second orderHe proceeded to bash the business and the staff, while stating that this was his first time trying us and how ridiculas it was to be charged twice Which was a lie I told him I could see his order history and that he has ordered several times from usI could tell he just was not getting itin an effort to limit the agrivation I then said to him that I would be happy to give him a gift card for the full value of the 2nd "pending" charge for the iconvenience, and still assured him that the second "pending" charge will never actually hit his accountIt was then that he stated that the food was burnt and the order was late ectAs I tried to reason with him he kept talking over me and acting irateAt that point I clearly stated that this is enough and he was being disrespectfulHe hung up, and continued to call back shortly after and be extreamy rude to staff and disruptive to business. I have included a screenshot of the *** portal showing the transactions which will prove the position that I defendI'm sure at this point Mr*** *** bank has updated their record to show that his account was in fact only charged once.Michael A***Founder ***'s Pizzeria
